I am having trouble contacting zos via my account

i cannot log into the game but i cannot find a way to send zos mail about it. i get a lot of help suggestions and have followed the one that seems to apply, but to no avail.

how do i submit a ticket from outside the game pls? i am pretty sure there used to be a way on the support page, but now i only see pages like the above and no way to submit a ticket. but then again, i have been known to be blind.

    i have also whitelisted a long time ago, port forwarding, etc. i need to try resetting the program data folder, but that is last on the list. would still be nice to be able to submit a ticket if needed and i dont see a way to do that from the website.

    Odd when I click on it I get many different options depending on which problem I pick.......

    First I get this.....

    Then after picking my platform I get this.........

    Then if I pick can't log in I get this........

    Does that not lead to sending a mail? Also another good way is to tag a Mod.......

    ok so with the web assist, there is an option to log in, so i do. answers questions, choose tech support, choose dropdown choice, answer 3 questions, verify server status, did the power cycle, already was whitelisted and port forwarded, reset the programdata folder, opened the launcher, but it went to play, not update as the writeup says.

    at bottom is: add issue details but it is "grayed" out and tells me to select: category, sub category, and any supporting details to proceed, so i scroll up and see i have selected a category and sub category and answered the 3 questions. but i am not getting the a login timeout error, which is mentioned right under those 3 questions i had to answer.

    so i cannot add issue details as the next link i need to click is "grayed" out.

    it appears to me that this IS the new way to submit a ticket, but i am conveniently blocked from doing so.

    the account recovery is to reset your password. i didnt reset, but i did follow that link

    and here i still sit on a loading screen trying to get to character load.

    yes, i pick my platform (pc) and then click on pick your support category at the bottom area. i can now choose:
    tech support, in game support, billing, or acct. tech support is the only choice for my troubles.

    now it talks about the game consultant, but doesnt tell me to do it, only that it can be used to show me relevant info. so i hit next in the bottom area.

    it wants to know if i meet sys req (which i can find in the consultant report if i dont know already, but i do) so i hit yes.

    now i need to choose a sub cat, so i pick have trouble logging in, and answer the 3 questions: yes i am connected to the internet, yes i checked for eso outages: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories will tell you eso server status, and eso is doing fine. i originally indicated i didnt get a one-time pw code because i didnt, but this time i said YES and LO & BEHOLD, the add issue detail button is no longer grayed out. they just want you to be sure to check your email to be sure.
    i did get one when i logged in to my acct earlier, but after the system power thing. so maybe that could be what they meant. i thought it was for the forums, but maybe not in all the confusion. and it says for the first time or from a new computer, and neither applied. i think they just want you to be sure to check your email for it first just in case.

    and NOW i can fill in a box. YAY! ok well tyty. it is just a new process since last time i sent them a ticket.

    EVeryone has problems contacting ZoS.

    I'll fill out a ticket 5+ times and get 'Your tickets been resolved' when in reality absolutely nothing happened.
