Nice enough to get two new dungeons, and certainly there are small things here and there that make quality of life better (writs and AP being bankable as an example) but overall I would hardly call this a DLC.

No, because I don't like dungeun only DLC.

Though I like some of the changes in the patch itself.

    This.

I played the DLC on the PTS and found it underwhelming.

I wouldn't buy the DLC or subscribe to play it.

It'll be two new dungeons modeled after a design craze I dislike, based on DPS, in a balance frame where tanking is a shambles, and where most of the new boons go to DPS.

I dont even want to play this game, and mostly stick around for it's community.

Probably for the next three days...until got the achievements and stuff. I'm more excited for the balancing changes and housing then for the actual DLC.

I'm going to do them for the challenge achievements and the rewards, but then probably not so much after that. They seem less inspired than the Shadows of the Hist dungeons and are also both quite short in my opinion. I find myself looking forward to the PvE dlcs moreso than the dungeons, despite the fact that the story dlcs have no replayability, but at least seem like they are worth more just for the extra zones they add.

I really wish they would actually continue with their plan of adding a second story to all of the base game dungeons, but they seem to have given up on that since the last one we saw that on was City of Ash, back in 2014. I honestly think a lot of the base game dungeons with a harder secondary story would be way more interesting than the new random dungeons they are adding with the dungeon DLCs, although I did think Cradle of Shadows was really nice, but that's like 1 out of the 6 dungeons they've added over the past 2 years, with the rest being either poorly designed or just not worth playing through once you have the associated achievements / items. Lastly, I wish the new sets they are adding with each of them wouldn't be so worthless.
Yes it would been an good idea, also easier than creating totally new ones. However i think its hard to monetize it, back then they had sub they wanted cheap content to keep players playing, now they want stuff people will pay for.

This is a fairly late reply I realise, but yes, you pointed out the main problem with it. Because if they try to monetise the second stories for base game dungeons, you can bet your a** they will spawn outrage, since people will expect them to be free. I think the best way they could do it, to avoid things like that. Is to release them incrementally alongside paid DLCs, so like maybe one secondary story for a base game dungeon included for free, and then a story dlc, or something like that. To be honest, I wouldn't really mind paying for it, if they were to put as much time into them as was done with City of Ash 2.

Sorry not excited. There is nothing in HoR I want. I don't do dungeons because they are trinity pleasers. This is not a criticism of HoR or of zos' trinity based dungeon play. It is my style to rp, craft, pick nodes, and raise money for housing. If I want challenge I'll play a single-player game on xbone. I do appreciate zos' regular content updates, maintenance, and work to avoid exploits. I do not mind the down time for patches and quick fixes, even if it brings content that is not for me specifically. It made someone happy and this is a shared game.

I agree, it will not come as they can not monetize on it, back then it was sub and they had two stories it was an fast an easy way to make more content. It makes it far easier to farm gear too, you can do CoA1 vet and COA2 normal.
No such option for the DLC dungeons.

And yes Falcreach hold was my first vet dlc clear, an epic fight an an giant wipe feast. Its the benefit of new content, nobody know the dungeon so you don't feel hopeless with loads of wipes.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Played on PTS, like the other DLC dungeons. Played on Live to get achievements.
I have played the DLC dungeons about 2x each.
It is difficult to get others to group for them.
Each time I have done a DLC dungeon it has take about 40 minutes to get a group.
