Multi House transit shrines

So simple idea that would make having multiple homes more viable. Create a transit shrine between the homes that allow players to interact with and choose to travel to other homes in the home owners possession. This would make it so anyone who has access to my home can travel to the other homes I created. It's so irritating having to go physically to my other homes just so someone else can visit my other houses other than my primary.

Btw in case some don't understand I'm talking about a transit shrine that lists the homes purchased by the player of which the shrine is placed thus allowing you to travel to any of my homes

It's lame having to switch primary residence just to show ur home to guild or port to home and have friends move to you. I can support this

Cyrodiil's transitus shrine network is a mage-operated piece of self-contained lore whose primary purpose is to make Cyrodiil less boring. It also covers a much smaller area than a housing transitus network would have to.

You'd also have to lead people to where the network was. And it's rude to leave guests unattended. So I don't see how a new, impersonal system is superior to personally guided tours. Be a good host. Otherwise people won't give a flip about the other places.

Just a regular transit shrine would do, so you can exit the house and go anywhere you like without needing to ride horse to another wayshrine.

Or Add an option for a secondary home to visit.

We already have a tab to visit "Primary Residence"

Why not add in a 2nd or 3rd residence option.

having all of them would be unrealistic. And I think the coding for adding a couple more Visit residencies is much less work intensive and helps please homeowners with less irritation and man hours better spent elsewhere

Needless though, I said yes anyway. As I'm not opposed to the option

    @Nelson_Rebel beat me to it.
just add secondary and tertiary residences to the same set of functions the primary already uses, save on new coding, and all the other reasons...
    couldn't agree more

the only other option i could reasonably imagine throwing out there is offering a Primary Residence setting for each particular character, but even that, like the OP's suggestion, sounds unnecessarily hard to write when compared against Nelson's idea.

it makes sense that a millionaire whose adventures span the continent would have a summer home. and i know my priest of Stendarr doesn't decorate the same as my depraved vampire.

It does not really make owning multiple houses more viable for the player, but their friends. We can already travel between our homes without issue. Only thing they should change is eliminate the debuff we get as though we traveled to a wayshrine manually.

Yes let us create a list of houses people can visit. I would like a list as not all of my homes are ready for prime time

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Or put a wayshrine in homes, as there should be, so we don't get charged 1000 gold to leave our houses.

If you leave by the door or port to another residence, you won't be charged. But if you try to port to another wayshrine within a certain time you will get charged - just like if you try to port to one world wayshrine and then another soon after.
