I'm using war maiden set and Julian of set with 34 points in siphoner 30 in tenacity and 100 in arcanist. I also have 17 points in healthy 57 in elf born 34 in spell erosion and 33 in elemental expert. I also have 56 points in staff expert 60 in resistant 74 in light armor and 47 in expert defender. 6 pieces of armor is purple and rest is gold. So why is it I still can't beat the frozen rink, I have been stuck on it for a few months now.

Pink_Violinz✭✭✭✭✭I actually just had this problem earlier. Start south, then move right, and when you're at the last pad use your defense sigil. I was having repeated problems at about 40 percent, when all the ranged adds spawn.
Don't be afraid to move around, especially to chase down trolls. Until then, use sigils whenever you feel you need them.5

Tactical32✭✭✭Make sure you are grabbing the sigils in the right order. Start on the plate with haste. 2nd is defense. Then healing and power.

✭I highly recommend you use the sigils, especially the first few times you run the arena. They are there to help.

✭34 in siphoner is not good for pve. Hardy and elemental defender might be better than light armor. You might use forcepulse for icebreaker trolls, or a gap closer.-Immortal Redeemer-

I personaly do diferent, start on haste up to 75%, then go on the island with healing sigil, taking it if needed, then at 50% move to the last island with the defensive and damage sigil, so at a point while grabbing both you can then burst at a point the boss and mobs will auto kill themselves, until i got enough confident to use magika harness properly and keept it up to avoid dieing from mages frost heavy/light attacks or archers... those 2 sigild are last resort, so i then rather liekd ending up on that platform and use them as pannic button...0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Remember the Stage 5 final boss is one of the few in vMA that is not DPS-centric ... until you get to the last platform.
Therefore, I take my time on the boss (focusing on the adds) and save my ultimate.
After that second platform goes, and the boss comes to the third one, that's when I use my ultimate.
The Elemental Storm ultimate works really nice in that situation ... assuming you are using destro staff.0
