    Don't feed the troll.

What you can do to grease the wheels is take a video and send it directly to ZOS through PM here or through the report function.

You can also encourage those in zone chat to report and leave a location. At least a few will add their reports, and multiple reports draws quicker action as well.

And as an aside, the sheer hilarity of it is that it is always an easily predictable place. It is always right near a bunch of mobs dropping hides, often the same spot with new bots every time.

Zenimax doesn't care and can't do anything about it.

When you make a FREE new PSN/XBL account you get 1 month FREE trial for online play.

Ban a bot? Guess what, they're back 20 mins later with new account, free of charge.
I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.

I got a video and screenshots just didnt upload them yet. I will edit my post tonight with a video of just how insane it is in that Bangkorai location.

Some photos of a small portion of the bots in this area. I would have posted the video as well but did not feel like editing out all the bot names, and I am sure it would have been removed for name and shame. Figured I already put way more work into combating this issue than ZoS will so why spend more time on it.

It is a nightmare. Totally ruins the game when you try to farm. Ugh :( You have to make sure you go there at specific times.

God knows what will happen if they decide to run the bots 24/7... that would be insane.

Poor show by Zos on the Bot scene to be honest. Expect more from them. It's not hard to just review an area with one or two members of the team and just remove the names ASAP. It's a constant job sure until the botters have to constantly create accounts.. ban them all. #OperationBotCleanup

Zos does not care. I tried reporting yesterday on xbone, but their system is just a joke. We need real live GM's in this game and to stay in this game.

Isn't that a fact that the more players in zone the faster spawn of nodes and chests? Does it work with a lot of bots around? Maybe they aren't so completely useless :).

They don't teach them because they're not bots - There's a bunch on Xbox EU but one guy has control of all of them and takes turns running round collecting the dropped scraps - The only time I think they breach ToS is when people try ruin their farm and they set up the characters on add spawns with an elastic band around heavy attack.

    It's not a big deal.

They destroy the economy and destroy places real players are trying to farm i use to farm a place in Bangkorai then bots showed up and ruined it i reported them and about after 6 months zos finally did something about them but instead of figuring away to remove them zos nerfed the spot where the bots was at and ruined it for everyone now the respawn rate where i use to farm is crap do to zos not being able to fix the problem the right way

I'm sure they are too. Oh well. Growing tired of ESO and I've only been back since just before Morrowind. This kind of thing just makes it that much easier to leave again. When ZoS starts caring about this trainwreck game then perhaps I'll come back again. Holding out until D2 then I'm jumping ship.

There are plenty of reasons but the main one I see is the economy has been jacked on PS4 mostly due to botting and gold selling.

Such a huge influx of materials has flooded the marketplace. Prices fall, guild bids go higher and people are walking all over each other trying to sell against an infinite stock.

One thing I figured out about bots (especially the bots that are sorcerers with summoned pets) the best sure fire way to eliminate their efforts in farming would be this:
    • After completing a heavy attack, you have to press it again to start & complete another heavy attack.
By making it so that you have to use the Heavy attack input button/trigger/key repeatedly by hand, it will eliminate a good percentage of bots as they will have to manually use heavy attacks manually instead of holding down the heavy attack button & being able to constantly spam heavy attacks which in turn allows sorcerers to do the killing for them lazily.

Because the way these bots do it, someone gets something to keep the heavy attack button held down on their controls while just standing in the one place where they can hit enemy NPC's without moving, then since they are either using bows or staves, these long range attacks will cause their Unstable clannfears & winged twilights to react accordingly & do the NPC killing for the players. By making heavy attacks so that instead of performing them repeatedly by holding down the trigger, they perform one heavy attack & no more after that unless they press the button/trigger/key to perform another. This may also possess a benefit for attack weaving too.

@ZOS_GinaBruno this may be the best possible workaround to eliminating bots yet.

Also, @Jake1576 you think that's bad, try Camlorn in glenumbra before defeating faolchu, there are so many sorcerer bots there that it is not funny

If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

There are controller mods that take 20 min to do and about $15 in parts to have things like rapid fire and button remapping. Unfortunately this wouldn't fix anything.

If they are flooding the area with bots so legimate people can't get resources, then simply remove the resources in those areas. Real players can't get to them anyway, so they won't miss anything. Without the easy rawhide and pelts, maybe the bots will give up. LOL who am I kidding. Can I have a way to disrupt them, like mud balls that disrupt their stance, even for a minute or two?
