Do people still play this game on PC EU?

Joshuam303
Hi! I recently came back to teso after a year + break and I thought with morrowind being released there'd be loads of people on but so far I only see one or 2 people every now and then :( I remember getting spammed to join guilds yet no invites yet :( I am on the EU servers

What time are u there? I mean if u are playing 4 am then sure it will be quite empty, otherwise they are there just on multiple different instances :)

Ahh I made a new character and saw only one other person for ages, then I went onto my level 33 guy who was in a nord city and only saw 4 people :(

Game seems pretty active. If you are in normal zones there is not much reason for players to be there other than to grind for some gear.

Noob areas are barren. I go there when I need to farm mats. Everyone seems to hang out in Belkarth in Craglorn...At least on PC NA server.

You will likely find more people in certain cities like Belkarth, Rawl'kha, Mournhold, Wayrest, Grahtwood, Davon's Watch, Daggerfall

You know I was leveling up an alt the other day, and there were 4 to 5 others doing the same beginning quests, everywhere I go there are plenty of players. I am on NA and use a PC, not sure if that makes a difference.

It's the instancing or channels or whatever they want to label it that comes from megaservers... You can be in a completely full instance, log out and log back into the same zone on a different character and it will completely empty.

PC-EU also lots of players, not been on starting island since some time but also plenty of people there, perhaps a bit less now as you start in morrowind.
its also an question about time of day, 05:00 you can even be alone in Rawl-kwa bank.

You should been here during Morrowind launch, it was idiotic crowded, more players than enemies in delves. 12 players doing an sneak mission at once was pretty weird.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

No lots of people in EU too, main question is zone and time you was on.
    Also platform.

Most guild invites are from traiding guilds, you might want one of them, then ask in that guild for pvp / pve guilds.

Vvardenfell is busier than the mainland... not as busy as it was at Morrowind launch, but still pretty active. You've also got a lot of oldbies in the usual haunts (Rawl'ka, Mournhold, Shornhelm), doing writs and whatnot. Also, I dare you to hang around the dolmens in Alik'r long enough to spot the dolmen train and then tell me no one's playing. :D

People are still playing. It's not as many as there were three years ago, but it's still a healthy number. It's just hard to tell because not a lot of the older players classically quest anymore.
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

This is why this game needs to slow down making new zones.

When you make new zones, other zones become obsolete, and it gives off a feeling "Do people still play this game??"

Nobody plays the game, we are just forum warriors. :)

I was on the EU server the other day and I was the only one in the bank. I'm guessing everyone in EU was sleeping at that time.

I remember when I was new there were so many people in Daggerfalls. I remember saying to my friend, "Wow, all those people running around are they humans like me and you? " :) The crafting station in Daggerfalls was like a house party, you couldn't find a spot to stand without bumping into to someone.

If you want a friend, get a dog.

It changed last year when they opened the whole map to all characters. You don't HAVE to do the zones in the story order any more. You don't have to go through the main quest line to get to the other factions zones. It spread people out more across the whole map, so it seems like there are less around.

vulkhel guard has plenty of people running around, its crafting hub for level one writs and an quest hub, many AD uses it as base until they get to rawl-kwa, you must have been on in the middle of the night unless PS4 has another pattern than PC.

Went to mistral on the AD starting island and gave away free racial style books, recipes and some blueprints.
They sell for less than 100 so no point of putting them in guild store, drew an impressive crowd :)
Found I had to ration out stuff so most should get something.

There are a lot more people than when I started playing last summer (PC NA).

Keep in mind that One Tamriel has made all the zones more populous (on average) since there is valuable gear in every zone now, but that also means the "max level" zones are now less populated.
