purchase options for a new player

I have a friend who is going to be buying ESO soon. He was asking me about all the different versions available for sale. I went through the options on the store page, but I can't see any package bundle that includes the base game + all DLCs + Morrowind. Is there a way to buy them all at once, or does my friend need to buy the base game + Morrowind version and then purchase the DLCs separately?

✭The DLCs are not available by direct purchase with Morrowind. You can only get them from the Crown Store, the in-game cash shop. The big 4 DLCs currently do come in a bundle (the Guilds & Glory DLC Mega-Pack), so you can purchase them all at once there, but you'll need to buy a pack of 5,500 Crowns to afford it.
You can also access all DLC by subscribing to ESO+, and have access to all DLCs (Morrowind doesn't count) as long as you're subscribed... but that's not an option I'd recommend for someone first trying the game.
For a new player, I recommend just getting the base game and Morrowind. If they want the DLCs, they can either purchase the DLCs down the road or subscribe to get access.
EDIT: OR... you might be able to get the Gold Edition, then the Morrowind Digital upgrade. That may be a way to do it.Edited by BlackSparrow on August 11, 2017 3:15PMLiving vicariously through my characters.

I think if you buy "The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition" (€49.99) and separate "Morrowind Upgrade" (€39.99) you have it all for €90... (about ; except "Shadows of the Hist" which is only 2 dungeons)...Edited by wesly.backersb16_ESO on August 11, 2017 3:18PM1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Gold edition would be the best option to start I think. He will have access to all classic TES guilds (many TES fans like DB and TG quests), access to all BiS gear, and loads of content to play. Then, if your friend likes the game, he could just pick Morrowind upgrade when its on sale.

I respectfully disagree. If the player enjoys questing or exploration, I highly recommend the base game. There are some great NPCs and quests in the base game. Sure, the writing in the DLCs (especially Wrothgar) is of higher quality, but the base game is nonetheless highly enjoyable, especially the first time through. A lot of us long-time players have just run through it enough that the shine has worn off a bit, but I would never advise a new player avoid the chance to meet characters like Razum-dar and Darien Gautier.Living vicariously through my characters.

Have to agree with you, @BlackSparrow . I played the base game only for about 6 months and then picked up the DLCs, and I loved it enough to become a subscriber.
My friend's an old Morrowind junkie, so he'll be buying the Morrowind version, but I know he loves the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guilds, so I wanted to see if getting it ALL at once was an option.
