Mount speed issue

Has any one else (not in pvp and not with rapids) noticed an issue with the speed of their mounts since the last patch?

When I press to sprint on any of my mounts on any of my characters, which are all at max speed, stamina etc, they don't stay in sprint despite having full green bar for that. I'm also finding that the mount is catching on everything and being forced out of sprint as well, similar to the issue about a year ago, but now it seems much worse.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Could you please have someone look into this.

Two things I've noticed with mount speed:

Significant slow downs whenever you run over a small bump or obstacle (especially the small things that shouldn't actually affect the mount running speed)
Dropping randomly out of sprint. I've checked my Shift key and it seems to be working fine but I continually have to re-engage mount sprint every 5-10 seconds.

#1 has been happening for the last year or so from a major update that "broke" mount sprinting speed (lots of threads about it but nothing was done). #2 is more recent, the past month or so I've been noticing it.

Yep.. those are the exact two things I've been noticing. It's getting really annoying.

By the way, that was a quick and silent moving this from the general to the bug forum where other players are less likely to see it and respond.

I've noticed as well. Everything maxed. Sprint seems broken. I sprint, hear the sound effect, but don't actually increase speed or it's very brief. I also noticed severe slow downs on any terrain that has you going up. Hate having to slot rapid, then unslot before a fight.

I noticed the change with Marrowind and the changes to max speed that were implemented .

Yep, every time I jump over anything, I am slowed when I land.

Ok, so I'm not just being picky.. and others are also noticing a decrease in speed as well as being pulled out of sprinting and hang ups on terrain.

This really needs to be looked into then, because what's the point of having mounts and spending the gold to increase their stats if your characters can run faster?

Also while in Cyrodiil when Im riding near an enemy keep wall and a mage NPC attacks me I get forcefully unmounted off my horse and my speed buff is removed.

The slowing down when jumping and when riding over an edge happened first about 2 years ago, it was then fixed in an update (would take forever to find it, but it was stated in patch notes).

Then some time later it was re-introduced, they eventually fixed it again.

Then in March of last year, I mentioned it was happening again in some other thread. I got a response from the devs that said something like, "but the mounts have always been like that". No, they have not, but they were in denial so it wasn't going to get fixed.

There seems to be some new issues with mount speed that are bringing this jump/edge slow down issue back into the spotlight.

The slow down after a jump appears to be an animation issue with the regular horses only, the animation for recovering from a jump or any kind of edge, like a rock, tree stump or the bottom of stairs, etc. I do not see this happening on a senche, camel or bear.

Yep, this video perfectly shows what is happening, except that you no longer have to get your mount to jump to make it happen, and it also happens with the senches and the wolves as well. It's really annoying.

Yup, max speed on my main character and I get slowed down randomly.
