Stamina Sorc Solo Leveling

Most of the sorcerers I have seen are Magicka.
So I am curious about this spec.
How good is this spec for solo leveling?
Does it have any self healing ?

There are 2 stam sorc builds alcast has; a DW and a 2H setup. Once you get some points and levels, you will.have shields out the wazoo. You can always throw a healing staff on the back bar for added protection.

Edit: you only really notice mag sorcs, because all stam classes play just about the exact same.

Leveling is not difficult regardless of what you play. As for stam Sorc, once you get Hurricane and Endless Hail you can just gather up mobs and mow through them. AoE rules all in PvE.

Attacks: Hurricane and Flurry will do the job for most anything while levelling. Put your CP into Thaumaturge for a boost to your DoT damage.

Buff and Healing: Critical Surge. While active it increases your Weapon Damage 20% AND every Critical Hit you make heals you for a small chunk. Those chunks turn into some pretty nifty constant healing if you're persistent in laying down the damage with a high Crit Chance.

That's basically all you need to to begin with.

Level up storm calling to 30 (I think) and you get insnae healing. So for solo levelling it's really good.

Leveling stamina sorc is easy.
Roll proper race

Orsimer (BiS for PvP)
Khajiit (I use this one for PvE)
Redguard (solid PvE and PvP choice)
Bosmer
Imperial

Equip proper weapon

2h if you wanna go to PvP asap
DW if you wanna go PvE asap
Bow as secondary for both applications
1h&s is optional

Get that hurricane asap
Be agressive or gtfo
You can play without Vigor with dark deal

Leveling must be done same as you do with any other class - equip weapon skill line 1 of each you wanna use till lvl 15 and have rest of the slots filled with class skills, one of each tree. Kill dreugs or go kill zombies/werewolves and similar bs. No need for light armor, go 5 medium 2 heavy from start. Thief stone, hundings rage with training on all pieces, combine it with trainee jewelry and 2 pc trainee heavy armor pieces. This will give you a lot of XP on kill, a lot of stats with trainee set and a lot of damage and crit with hundings/thief. Remember, if you are not aggressive, stamina sorcerer is not a class for you.

On stam sorc dual wield is boring, go 2Hander.

2H has impressive single target and splash damage, Brawler is a great skill in trials, dungeons and low level exp grinding too, especially Skyreach where you'll invincible to those mobs in there.

Critical surge (storm calling 30) will give you massive healing per second and Hurricane will constantly proc it.

Seriously... Stam sorc is the easiest and most survivable stamina class to play with...

and Dark Deal is the icing on the cake.

You'll have no issue. Stam sorc had the best survivabilty of stam classes maybe with the exception of warden not really sure. Keep your crit surge and hurricane up with bound armaments and dark deal and you should never run out of resources. I gotta level with you though, stam sorc is kinda boring. Having fully leveled and extensively played stam DK, stam sorc and partially leveled a stam warden, I have to say that so far my favorite class is stamina NB. Haven't tried templar, but so far no other stamina class even comes close to the synergy of wpn and class skills like stamblade in pve or pvp. For once I feel like I'm actually playing a class instead of just the same old stamina setup under a different name. Even DKs have more use for their class abilities now. Stam sorcs are perhaps useful but very boring atm. Just my two cents.

I dunno, typically on a new Stam Sorc I level DW to 14 in order to get Steel Tornado, and then I use Bow as primary weapon. If you're struggling to stay alive, you can use Clannfear as a tank to draw aggro away from you- using a Bow keeps you out of danger. Once Bow is leveled, then I put a couple DW skills on my front bar so it levels the skill line and then switch to DW backbar when turning in quests to get the biggest chunk of XP on the backbar. I also level with full set of Training gear to increase XP from enemy kills.

Once you get Storm Calling to level 30, you get Surge, morphed to Critical Surge; you also get Hurricane early on. StamSorc is my favorite class.

Since you don't get crit surge unlocked until later levels you may want to start with Blood Thirst (morph of Flurry) until you get that unlocked. I'd Switch back to the other morph (Rapid Strikes) when you unlock crit surge for more damage.

Very easy to level at Spellscar with the mobs there, I leveled mine in to 50 in 6 hrs.

If you are addicted to crit heals and find mag sorc a bit squishy when you rush the mobs its totally the class for you. I use shackle breaker and nmg combo to level. Load up the bars with skills to level cos all you need overland is snipe.

Stam sorc is one of the best self healing classes in the game if you run crit surge. Add the blood thirst flurry morph and you should not have any problems staying alive while you level solo.

I have a Khajiit StamSorc that only uses bows. Leveled it fine, no issues with surviving...kite and CC, until you get hurricane and crit surge, then you can face tank overworld enemies...

Bow abilities for attacking, Sorc Abilities for support.

My Bars:
Poison Injection (well poison arrow now, need to relevel it to get injection after respec)
Draining Shot
Bound Armaments
Bolt Escape
Lethal Arrow
Rapid Fire

Acid Spray
Hurricane
Bound Armaments
Critical Surge
Endless Hail
Power Overload

Early on, I used Rune Prison for CC on 1-2 enemies; and encase for 3 or more enemies.

Now, it may not be highest DPS build, but great for leveling, especially when using aoe. It you play StamSorc, stack crit though, because healing off crit surge needs it.

With Surge and Hurricane it supports a very fast and aggressive playstyle. The more damage you do the more you heal. Combine that with vicious ophidian in the endgame and you have the perfect farming machine.

Brawler+Crit Surge leads to never dieing in normal pve. Hurricane and Endless Hail lead to easy AoE killing. Stamsorc is probably the easiest way to level, or close to it.

You can literally hit crit surge and stand in endless hail and hurricane and out heal anything in overland pve

once you get surge and hurricane ur good for stam sorc- the rest of the class skills dont get used- other than streak.
. u gotta rely on weapon skills for attack skills which is a bit boring, no claws, surpise attack, breaths, whips, etc to give the class some melee variety- but the strenght of the class is mobility- and that 3rd overload bar. thats like a utilty belt that is- i pack on mines, caltrops, trap and rune- four ground aoes in BG and just build a no go zone.

Stam Sorcs have incredible self-healing and passives that synergize well with one another.

Probably even more potent when it comes to soloing content. On a Mag Sorc you constantly have to recast shields in the harder content, with the stam version you just make sure that Hurricane and Crit Surge are up at all times and you can breeze through just about anything.

stam sorcs are very strong, great class skills and passives. great gealing from surge and dark deal and grrat mitigation from hurricane on top of deadly cloak.

How to play stamsorc: A beginners guide

Step 1: Get Hurricane
Step 2: Get Crit Surge

Congratulations you now have enough selfheal to complete most content in the game xD

Bonus: If you want to do some AoE damage get steeltornado as well
