We have been asking for this since they took it away in early Alpha.
The Devs have promised us this since Beta/Early Live.
We are 3 years into the game.
So, probably not going to happen. At least not soon.
As many of you know you can craft a decent set, but still need to use dropped jewelry.
All of my characters use a single crafted 5pc set, with a some items from a drop set in an attempt to get a second 5 pc bonus.
I would really like to use a two complete crafted sets to get the two 5pc bonuses. But since you cannot craft jewelry, you have to use dropped jewelry. This means you have to use dropped sets to get a second 5pc bonus.
I propose that once you have all craft-able traits researched (meaning all 9 traits for every crafted item), you unlock jewelry crafting this would be for Crafted sets only.
Jewelry crafting would use the same mats as the other crafted armour sets, but would require twice the amounts of mats to craft the item.
So if you want to craft a "Hunding's Rage" gold ring, it would take 2x the amount of mats required to make a gold "Hunding's Rage" piece of armour.
This would:
1. Make Crafting great again.
2. Think of the wonderful sets you could then craft and use.
Examples :
5pc Hunding's Rage
5pc Night Mother's Gaze
and possibly a 2pc Monster set
or
5pc Law of Julianos
5pc Armor of the Seducer
and possibly a 2pc Monster set
That would be an understatement, it was hilariously broken and the pets were a constant source of "entertainment" ...vyndral13preub18_ESO wrote: »They took warden away and then sold it back to us. Granted reports are it wasn't ready for prime time back then.
I come from a different pov.
I want crafted and drops to be collaborators, not competitors.
I want both crafted and drops to be needed.
To get there take weapon out of drop sets and so then you have drop exclusive jewel set slots and crafted exclusive weapon set slots.
It also ends the most onerous of the RNG hunts for drops.
This, has recommended this before, benefit it that its trivial to implement.

How about this idea. Set jewelry has a chance to drop in the dungeons of the zones the crafting stations are in?

Just add it onto blacksmithing.
Use blacksmithing tempers.

Or a new crafting skill,tinkering.
Good idea let you buy them for writs currency. Why is there not just a merchant next to each crafting station which sells Blue, Purple & Gold Jewelry of the set in all three traits? It could even be bought with Writ vouchers so as to expand what you can actually do with them—it would be a great system.
How would it upset balance, starter set now is one crafted and one overland, then replace one with an dungeon set, then add monster set and then sometimes a second dungeon sets. For the sake of the grind: YES
For the sake of balance: NO
