ESO is an excellent game but need some more vertical elements.
Almost every mmo have something like this.
Every 3 months we must change our gear from the gear who is already in the game. All because of the nerfs .
We need more gear diversity ..2 more difficulty tiers for the dungeons, a resurrection of the DSA , a token system for VMA and the possibility to change the traits of the gear (only by crafters).
Regarding the gear we need a new tier ( something like ancient legendary from Diablo 3 )
This ancient legendary gear (uncraftable) will bring a fresh air to the game and should drop from every source ( overland or dungeons).
English is not my native language.
i kinda like the ideaphaneub17_ESO wrote: »I wouldn't mind if they added 2 more upgrade tiers to items above legendary; however, they have to do them differently.
No thanks. I want to play the game, not be constantly grinding to get better gear. There is already an insanely high grind in this game - in fact one of my friends calls it "Grinding Scrolls Online".

Next update the BiS gear for magicka dps builds can be crafted (julianos) and bought (mother sorrow). Only one piece you need to farm in divines is Iceheart.
As long as the gear from the next tiers up are totally useless for PVP - then I don't care.
But as soon as they try to force PVPers up some group-PVE vertical progression scale, I'm out.

Well for Magicka thats True...
Stam still need to Farm TFS, VO, Leviathan, Automaton, Sunderflame and a Monsterset since Stam BiS is very situational and depending on the content / Group your running in

Totally understanable, any higher tiers for gear would make PvP very hard to blance, since sets which are now okey, may become way to OP when they'd get a higher tier.
They could also make 2 different Tier types, like Red only PVE and Ornage only PVP but Orange upgrade mats can be bought directly from cyro traders. And the Red gear gets like a active for Dungeons and trials in which they turn from Gold to red, same for Orange PVP gear, in Openworld ts still Gold and in Cyro it turn to Orange.
I appreciate the notion, and some of the ideas are interesting like the traits... but im playing this game because of the lack of vertical progression. If i wanted to grind my butt off id go play one of the millions of games out there like that.
I really enjoy the horizontal progression of endless skill combinations, gear sets, and the massive amount of content that ive been playing for years and still haven't gotten through. Eso is unique and id rather see it stay that way rather than become every other mmo.

I'd rather grind for better gear, than grind for new gear just to stay even. What op proposes isn't more of a grind than what Zeni pushes us to now, it's just a vertical grind instead of the current, flat grind. The concept is that they would introduce better items and gear to strive for, instead of actively making what you're wearing worse.
