Reduce the cost of Mythic Restorative Resin ?

Glass Style Motif Fragments are now two-a-penny on the PC/EU server. It's possible to buy over 100 for less than 1,000 gold. Similarly, whole Glass Style Motifs are all selling for less than 10,000 gold. So, I am calling on ZoS to reduce the cost of the Mythic Restorative Resin (available at Mages Guilds, and which bind 10 fragments together to make a whole motif page) to a more reasonable, market-realistic price. What do you think? The current price is 10,000 gold !

supaskrub✭✭✭✭✭do you really think that would make a difference? fragments are two a penny and the motifs sell for chump change right now as you point out, reducing the cost of the resin won't change a thing in an overly saturated market.. but a drastic reduction on the frequency of fragments rewarded would eventually turn things around, but that won't happen.2 -

Agree that the market is saturated, but if Glass motifs are going to be cheap - like Xivkyn and Mercenary - it makes no sense at all to place a barrier on using the fragments. With cheaper Resin, at the least junky fragments have some purpose, especially for newer players.3 -

I think you're right. A 5k price tag for Resin at the Mages Guild would make the fragments worthwhile again.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Reduce the price - 10k is way too much in this market!I've already got my glass motif, but, yeah, for all the effort you need to go through, resin should either come down. Probably to somewhere around 5-7.5k. The RNG on glass pages is brutal with that 10k per ticket price tag.1 -

I think the issue is, there are thousands upon thousands of the fragments selling for pennies. People try their luck with the resin, and mitigate their losses by selling on the finished, unwanted motif. Enough people do that and the market is flooded with motifs, keeping the price very low.
I have enough fragments to get the whole Glass set for my new crafter. There's no point, though - I'll just ditch the fragments and buy the finished motifs in store. With few exceptions, I reckon it'll average at about 5k per motif!1 -

Before we had those nice solid purple books who gave us the whole style. I remember how great it was if you found one. They were rare, but that was ok, because it was not buoyant armiger rare. ✭Reduce the price - 10k is way too much in this market!I've always felt they should reduce the price as it is not in line with the drop rate at all, which should also be reduced. I have over 800-900 motif fragments sitting in my bank because I'd be losing a lot of gold just converting them, and they're not worth listing on guild stores. I'll likely just vendor them.

✭✭✭✭Reduce the price - 10k is way too much in this market!Here's another idea (as well as reducing the price) - make the resin able to bind a full set of motif pages (of any motif) into the relevant motif book.
Would be useful during events that drop motif pages, as well as drastically reducing the number of sell slots required to sell motifs, plus more convenience for people looking to buy motifs.
EDIT: LOL, sorry, just noticed that someone suggested that 2 posts up from this - in my defence, I have just woken up and caffeine hasn't kicked in yet
