Recommendations please: Better to Install from my Disks from 2014 or fully DL and install online?

I am coming back to the game after a year and I am unsure whether I should DL and install entirely or use my set of disks to reinstall and then just patch up to current?
I am only concerned that a whole new install might have less issues than installing from disks and then patching.
It does take hella long to DL but I can wait (I mean it's been just over a year so what's a day or so?).
However, if there aren't really any issues with installing from disk then patching up, I could be persuaded to go that way ;-)

Yep. Any game 3 years old should be installed via a clean dl. So much has changed already.0 -

✭✭✭I've had the same install, from disc, since the game came out. Haven't had issues with it specifically yet, I think you're safe either way
