Ability to convert armor...?

I'm asking for an either or thing here. You tell me which one you rather have.
1. The ability to convert an entire suit of armor that you're wearing into a Costume.
2. The ability to convert ANY piece of armor into another style via crafting (will consume a style piece, requires you to know the style, and will bound the piece of armor to you directly).
Why? Mostly because certain styles are rather amazing and really good. However, sometimes the sets you may actually want for a specific character isn't in that style and this really annoy me. What if I really want a specific style? What if I want to be wearing full Dunmer at all time while using a set that only drops in Breton style? Do I have to just NOT use that set? This is something I feel like could be very helpful, to allow people customize their characters a bit more to what they want and like, rather than being limited.
What you guys think?

I believe they already said something about the transmog feature coming sometime. Probably will be for crowns though. Makes me wonder where all those people are hiding that are suppose to be fixing the same bugs for the last three years. Oh they must have been pulled over to make costumes.
