Do you give "extra" money to your guilds?

I do. more than 5 000. Every week.
    to your guild master, actually.

As a Guild Master, I give hundreds of thousands of gold worth of my time and materials to my guild every week to make sure that it is successful. I don't get paid, I don't take things from the guild, and what little actual gold I make goes back into supporting the other guilds to which I'm a member.

Not that there aren't *** GM's out there, but I'm pretty certain that the GM's running the established guilds aren't those ***. If we were, our members would leave and join less *** guilds.

I donate 50K a week to my main trade guild for raffle tickets. And I give 10K to 25K to my secondary trade guild when the need arises (they don't have requirements and only do raffles sometimes...) or there's some guild organized event.

honestly @sylviermoone , I don't quite understad the payout for the amount of energy expenditure and more importantly - tax on patience most of you must endure...

I haven't really taken the time to interact a bunch with my gm's...so, not really sure what makes you tick...

I imagine it's like being in charge of a local club or group - with hundreds of the good, bad, and less than attractive type members...

    the horror, the horror...

any how - any one with half a brain understands no only are there very few absolutes - but - by and large - people are generally okayish...

nurses, elementary school teachers, and guild masters are normally out there doing good work...should never feel the need to justify...

lots of folks on the forums throw out some pretty random, broad strikes type feelings and spontaneous opinions...i wouldn't take any of it too serious...

Depends on how much gold I have.

You should whenever you can as it helps your guild keep their trader spot, which helps you.

Aside from the hundreds of thousands I put into my own guild, I also usually contribute more to my trading guilds as without them I wouldn't have as much gold as I do! Plus I understand the endless struggle for trader funds, as well as the hard work many GM's & officers do, so am happy to give them extra.

I've seen good traders run over 8 million gold...usually the GM puts in alot of their own gold for bids. Obviously you don't actually know how much gold it really takes to run a successful trading guild. Most GMs actually lose gold to keep the members happy, you shouldn't make broad assumptions if you aren't informed. Running a successful guild isn't cheap, and members should want to help....good day sir!

yes i agree but again there are a lot that dont, like a recent example where a PS4 EU GM (500m members) quit
after gather a s***tload of gold, mansion etc with the excuse of ESO isnt challenge enough and was waiting for Morrowind

the same person appear again last month with the same guild to inform -through chat-that hes recruiting again

i put 5k per week to a small guild i am,just cause i want to not asked for.cash stays with me

so NEVER,EVER put gold anyplace than your pockets

I buy raffle tickets to support my two guilds I'm in, 10K gold a week each guild.

It's not like 20K is hard to get, a few sales, boom covered.

I couldn't handle running a guild, and I', grateful as heck to the guy that runs mine, for all the work he does keeping it running smoothly.

I send my tax in on a semi-regular basis to keep it evened out, because I never manage to sell enough to keep the gold flowing from sales alone.

10k to each of my four big trading guilds, whatever is needed on the other two small traders that I either run or act as Trademaster - often over 100k p/week. (This is across two accounts, I should add). I don't donate to the others, as they are non-trade PVP/PVE guilds. In total, I guess I spend in the region of 200k p/week.

It's important to donate regularly if you want to continue to take advantage of good trade guilds. Guild Trader kiosks are more expensive than ever, and competition for the space is fierce. Sadly, the system we have in place means that most guilds do not trade their way into sufficient profit to ensure a winning bid each week.

What leftover gold? I run a mid-range trading guild and put a load into it, I don't get anything out of it for myself. Maybe you don't understand how high trader costs are!

    It's a weird question.

I do give money to my main trading guilds .... it's not *extra* .... it's an investment in helping them stay healthy. I pay from 5-15k per week.

I get far more income from my main trading guilds than I pay them ... and I try to give them a decent amount each week.

Never ran a business or been self-employed? You have a week when the business has a surplus. If you use that surplus and blow it, you end up with the 9/10 weeks that have a shortfall and end up going bankrupt. Bankrupt guilds cant afford to have a trader.

    I don't.
If I was in some hardcore raiding guild that provided food and repairs and skill runs and gear runs and shard runs and etc etc I would donate gold and stuff.

But I am not. I get nothing out of the guilds I am currently in that I could not get in any other random guild. I am not complaining about the guilds I am in. I don't expect anything from them. But in return they should not expect anything from me.

75% of my guild trader takings by Friday, The weekends takings are all mine ( I am often busy so I might not have time to donate). Such an awesome trading guild... but if I don't put in a ton we lose our trader which really sucks.. So its either lots of cash of which a bunch goes in for the trader or no cash at all.

For my other guilds.. 2K... one of which has a trader sometimes so they'll get more then.
