Making separate crafting 'toons is a play-style game choice.
The account owner decided to make separate 'toons so that they'd be able to take advantage of having more free skill points to spend in different areas on 'toons that each did fewer crafts.
No problem, but learn to live with your choices.
You really CAN'T have it ALL, ALL the time.
Now, go have fun.
I take it that you're on PC...
It takes a long ass time to switch characters on xbox. 8 secs to logout, 20+ secs. to character loading screen, 30+ seconds to load other character. That's being generous. In other words it's loading screen hell.

Not about laziness but for practicality. Insightful comment btw...Making separate crafting 'toons is a play-style game choice.

I started out with a DK who I made into a tank. I invested a lot into this character but I decided to semi-retire him in favor of a magPlar. Each character has different skill point allocations & I'd rather not invest too much into crafting skills for the magplar since the DK has the most experience with crafting. I created a few toons from different alliances and classes so I could explore & experiment with the game. The DK has a lot more traits & motifs researched and it'd take months for the magplar to catch up.
I lived with my choices but in order to learn more about the game it's useful to expand & learn with alts. Besides many players have crafting toons separate from their main.

Best bet is to do the skill poont grind to make your char competative enough to do stuff and level your other chars in crafting. Just enough to cover those training gear requests. Its what i do anyway
That's your fault for buying a meme machine son.
So - respec the points on your retired 'toon, and bring him back to professional usefulness.
Win/Win.

Haha! It was a gift but I started out on PC (which fried with a power surge). Then I had a XB360 and games were cheap so I stuck with that route. XBone is a massive pain... install everything & then 40 gigs of updates & you need to have a XBLive account AND be online to play anything. ESO doesn't need a sub BUT you need Live Gold for any online games. Then add ESO+ to the mix (did it for the crafting bag) and now ESO is the most expensive game I played. ESO+ should be cheaper IMHO.
I should be happy with the craft bag since it's shared between characters. So - respec the points on your retired 'toon, and bring him back to professional usefulness.

IDK if it's the Breton side of the DK but he constantly frustrated me. I occasionally accept dueling requests & I often lose, unless you consider a forfeit a win (which I don't). 3 people forfeited on me. I guess they don't want a fight that could last hoursOne reason I made him into a tank. IDK if I invested in the wrong abilities or used subpar equipment but he's tiring & monotonous.
