It's a cosmetic skin, don't compare this to real OP gear, that's just wrong on so many levels.

Just be glad ANY cosmetic stuff exists in the game and be happy, jeesh.

-sigh- Buy it or not its up to you, no reason to complain over it. ZOS needs money to run ESO, if no one buys it, they loose money. It's up to you or not if you want to buy it. Honestly I like it, I really do like the new skin. But thats just me really, if you people don't want to buy it, then don't buy it. Some people are unable to get the spiderkith skin, either due to being busy, having horrible DPS or grouping, etc. So for those who can't get the skin, have this option of getting one simillar, don't get me wrong ZOS likes to reskin (Recolor) a lot of stuff, but there isn't much you can do about it, just think of it as a way for people to get costumes/apparel you normally get as rewards for completing things in DLC's, for people who don't have the DLC's.

Like I said, if people want to buy it, let them buy it, don't discourage them It's their money not yours.

I really do not see any problem here. There are still quite a few skins that can only be obtained in game. And as far as aesthetics go it is purely subjective when stating which one "looks better".

If you think that skins should not be in the crown store, is that not a little bit selfish? Some people don't have the time to complete achievements for them or whatever the requirements are so the store is their only option.

At least this way they can cater for both types of players and both have some degree of exclusivity. As long as the CS stays away from P2W I see no issue.

"I don't have time to play this game, I work hard everyday, and spend alot of times with my kids. Therefor, Zenimax should implement RNG potions to the Crownstore." There will be many potions at sale, once you drink this potion you recive the following:

100% chance the next chest you open contains firestaff with sharpeened trait. Last one hour.

Buy this other potion:
Every source of loot gives 2x ammount as reward, stack 3 times. Last one hour.

These are item we will see in the future, because all these casuals "I don't have time to play, I need to feed my kid".

These potions are not pay2win, you can choose not to use em, dont get mad at me for using these potion to save time.
You can still get fire staff with sharpeened if you play the game, you shouldnt care how I spend my money! I worked hard for this wellearned money, and I use them as I please.

Sorry, forgive me but your definition is a little bit vague, at least to me anyway. Are you saying nothing should be available in the crown store and everything should only be obtainable by unlocking in-game, because anything else will lead to P2W?
