The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

That money cannot be maintained by sales alone if you're trying to run a company and pay your employees and pay for server bandwith at the same time.
Crown Store additions and Crates and the likes are essential to the continued existence of the game, like it or not.6 -

✭✭✭I wonder how some people sleep at night. They're not screwing anyone over. You still get the content, you'll still get a title(s) and you'll still get a skin. Oh wait, that's everything you get in the other dungeons too. There's a helluva lot wrong with the CS and the game in general and a skin ain't one of them.
On the plus side, you'll still obtain a skin which you can't get in store. Whether you wear it or not or even like it is neither here nor there. Even better, you can decide to buy the content knowing exactly what you're getting. I'd begin to see the point if this was shown after the purchase of the content, but it's not. You know what you're getting thus able to make an informed choice.2 -
BlazingDynamo✭✭✭✭✭I'm surprised it took this long. It's been a long long time since a skin was in the crown store. Especially when the vMoL skin was all the rage they didn't bring one in.

First of all, yes. Equating skin, which is pure cosmetics, to vMA weapons is a logic fallacy on sooo many levels, I can't even begin to describe it.
Second... you do realize that they actually look differently, right? As in - you can easily distinguish one from another? Then why do you care? Everyone will know that you got your skin for conquering vCoS, while the guy with Ebon bought his skin in Crown Store.
As a proud owner of well-deserved Dro-M'Athra skin, I would be hella pissed if they put it in Crown Store. But would I give a s**t if they put, for example, red version of it in CS? No. For as long as earn-through-in-game-achievements skins are easily distinguishable from the ones you can buy... I honestly don't see the problem.
Also - looking better is subjective. I find Spiderkith skin fugly, but kinda cool in disturbing way. Totally would wear it on malicious, villain char if I ever make one (dedicated to Assassins Guild, for example). Ebon? Just fugly.English isn't my native, apologies for any mistakes.1 -

Seriously... all sarcasm aside, the price that you pay for getting the game for free each month is that ZoS need to sell cosmetic stuff to make money to keep the game running... that cosmetic stuff has to be desirable, and some of it will be cash shop only or else nobody would buy it.
