This is something guild leaders can handle themselves. We have plenty of "guild activities" planned each week. We do world boss runs, Trials, Cyrodiil skyshards, and naked dungeon runs.

Anyone who has played gw2 and was in a active guild would remember how fun it was to do guild races. Sure the game allows us do to all this ourselves but if the game would reward guilds for doing these things together I don't see the harm. And I'm not saying then this game into gw2 but there is a lot to be desired for guild activities outside pvp and trials. Anything to make a guild more social together would be an improvement in the game. I can't tell you how many guilds I have joined and there was no one in chats for days at a time. Something like this would help promote interacting with others and building friendships. Which is what makes an mmo so much more fun than single player

I am not against it. Zos already added guild activities which OP seems to overlook. Trials, dungeons and such.
Further, guild scan and do come up with obstacle courses and scavenged hunts and more. They have some creative people in their leadership ans done need Zos to hold their hand so they can get something done. They even offer a reward for the winners. Leadership is for vision and creativity.
the statement that most guilds have no incentive (or reason) to do anything together is false. If it seems to be the case in your guild there is a problem with the guild. Either find another guild or step up yourself and start getting things done rather than ask others to do it for you.

But once the skyshards are farmed then what? The world bosses drop crappy loot that I can get anywhere else in the game and there's no real need to repeat dungeons. What's the harm in the game having repeatable content that rewards you with something worthwhile?

Other than that I think GMs should have to do the work to set up the events themselves.
@Nestor what about the giant volcanic island? (30+ hours of gameplay)Giles.floydub17_ESO wrote: »
Zos had that. Craglorn.
Problem with Craglorn is the whole zone was forced group. So, no one wanted to go there as most people PvE Solo. Its still mostly forced Group but can be solo'd with a good build in most of the dungeons.
Wrothgar, Gold Coast and Hew's Bane are the models they should emulate.

Wish they would bring back the idea of Murkmire.

The prerequisites required for doing the World Boss and other Dailies up there is kind of irksome. That is why I left it off the list. We had issues getting a guild run as so many had not done the pre-reqs on the characters they had brought.

I've seen guilds organise silly things like fishing events. Hell, I've been in random runs across or through zones. These are organised by players.
