I grouped up with 2 cp 400 dps i was like ok this will be fast, HELL NO! They were complete garbage

With how strong the CP catchup mechanism is, I'd say 400 CP is pretty new and corresponds to someone who probably started playing earlier this year.

LOL 380 CP and been playing since launch.... a lot of alts ;)

That said I have seen both very poor HIGH CP builds (obviously robo grinders who have no idea of how to play), and miserable lvl 14s in WGT with no idea of what to do beyond LA.

Stam AOE DPS is really crappy without a VO set these days. I caught on to the changes with 2-H forceful AOE damage when Morrowind was released, and although you take a hit to single target DPS, equipping 2H could lead to better AOE DPS in SOME cases.

Grobull adds disintegrate like tissue for my Stamblade with a two hand setup, (heavy attack/light attack forceful weaving between power extraction / reverse slice, keep caltrops and endless hail refreshed). In most pulls, I'm dealing roughly 40% of the DPS when paired with magsorcs. Usually 80% of the damage when paired with other Stam builds. 2H isn't meta, but it's satisfying compared to when I was running dry on stamina with Steel Tornado.

The gap currently. A bad player has a hard time reaching 10k dps. A good player can pass 30k dps. So I don't mind if Zos made some effort to close that gap a little bit so i could enjoy grouping with less seasoned players.

Actually it was ZOS intent to change that with the Morrowind patch ("heaving-the-floor-lowering-the-ceiling"). Why am I not suprized that it didn't work ?
As it was predicted by everybody outside ZOS.
Good players adapted fast, causal players did not, for the light attack brigade it did not affect them.

I agree, I think the largest issue is the weaving part of the rotation. The better players have mastered that, whereas the others just don't care to, don't want to, or just don't have the time to learn.

Unfortunately to the dismay of the ones that have mastered it, I think it should be removed, probably won't ever be, but should be. After all, people are watching these builds on Youtube, that are just that, builds. These channels have the best gear that is unattainable to probably most watching them, because they haven't mastered the whole weaving thing.

Removing it would bring most down, but they'd ultimately make things work anyways, while bringing those back up that struggle and are merely that, casual players.
