Are armor procs in any way affected by your stats?

I understand they can no longer crit since January, but can they be affected in any other way? Are they boosted by weapon or spell damage or can I just pick whatever proc I like and not worry about the division between magic/frost/fire/lightning for magicka and physical/poison/disease for stamina characters?

tunepunk✭✭✭✭✭They are not affected by any stats, but they will be stronger with some champion poins, and of course penetration and such. And passives like dark elf boost to fire dmg.
If you use a shock enchant its good to have some spell penetration etc, so not sure if shock is optimal for pure stamina builds with most champion points in to that side.5
