This event is difficult to grade. There are many variables.

Event was great, fun and easy on new pvpers. Boxes rewards had balanced stuff and natural way of acquire them (not too many, not too less). Performance killed it though. Hopefully next year those are addressed.

From what I saw, there was little reward aside from double AP.

The servers got actively worse completely buckling under the strain multiple times.

I would grade this an F on what we were promised versus what we got.

I give it a B. The week prior to the event we had a server crash that messed up grouping so I can't blame the event for more of that happening. I also didn't experience much lag, maybe I"m lucky. Lack of new recipes was a bummer but real reason why I give it a B is because of the bugged achievement with no extension of the event. Regardless of how easy the achievement is to get, some people planned time off of work/vacation/etc. around this event and weren't able to get it. All in all, fun event, got me back into PvP, and I was able to get all but three Militant Ordinator pages.

It served its purpose, forcing me to play battlegrounds which I had so vehemently avoided. Was a bit of fun in the end. All the Cyrodil stuff though, I just did 20~ish scout missions in Xerxes campaign and solo'd the rest, which only ever had 40 odd players in it. So no dropouts or lag or crap for me

Quest was simple. Straight to the double AP.
Nice lore wise.
Nice reward boxes

Bad side:
Had to have Morrowind for one of the achievements.
Lag was terrible in the busy campaigns but they did open up new ones.

Simple event. Nothing complicated or hard to understand. Easy to achieve everything in 24 hours. Gets an A in my book.

Only thing that would have made it better is if I could have gotten the rewards from Cyrodiil, IC, and Battleground dailies.

We had disconnections. Servers are crap. But at least they did open 2 new campaigns and it did help a bit.
Some achievements were locked behind DLC/expansion. This is first time they did this for an supposedly free for all holiday event. Didn't like that in particular.
Event lasted too short. We needed it to be 2 weeks long. I hope they reconsider this in the future.

Overall, despite all setbacks, I enjoyed the event. Hoping to see it improved next year.

Too much lag and crashes in Cyro (once I crashed 3 times during siege fight, and then crashed when fighting someone in a middle of nowhere lol), less stuff to collect (ok I'm not complaining about free stuf but I liked previous events more).
On the bright side, I leveled pvp skill line on 2 characters, and the laurel crown is quite nice. So it wasnt all that bad.

The event it's self was great and really loved it A for the thought. The servers where crap and pvp was very hard to get into and taking keeps was just a crash fest and missing ticks really sucked F for that.

So I give it C lots of fun great ap but horrible servers and not well thought out on the amount of people that would do it

Except the same server problems that have plagued the game since beta are there. Shame on you, Zos, it's 2017. We didn't have DC and lag issues like this taking keeps in Dark Age of Camelot, on dial up modems, longer ago than some of your players where born.

The A++ drops to barely passing because of this, IMO. The concept and payouts where great, the PvP was worth the price of admission when we got to do it, but DC's, permanent log screens, and server side lags came in just this side of ruining it.

got 6mil AP ,100% solo play during the event so not complaining

overall pretty good

The cons were that there were more crashes than with PvE and most of them happened during the biggest scrums. That and the super long loading screens, some would eventually complete, others never so it made deciding when to quit and restart difficult. The loading screens happened every day but only on two did they seem really bad.

The pros, as a DC in Vivek on PS4 never had a queue wait over 100 and towards the end of the event pretty much straight in. Community was great and the groups welcoming, as a complete PvP noob went from nothing to rank 15 and about 1.6M AP so opened access to all the skills, got plenty of skill points and have started to gain a proper understanding of ESO PvP.

I also had a lot of fun which alone gets this a B rating.

Those boxes were a godsend. In fact, I think they should be added to the rewards of the worthy outright. Double AP is nice, even though it without fail brings out the worst in RvR strategy because O-ticks are worth so much. As someone who is already capable of earning the gold rewards, as I have every month for the last year or more, the gold jewels everywhere will probably devalue my monthly winnings as prices go down due to supply. Yet, somehow, the price of VD jewels jumped 400% since the last month because of this event, and some idiots are even paying double or triple that price increase again. There was a PvEer in zone today trying to sell VD rings for 120k! What idiots would... for the last few months I couldn't sell those things for more than 15k!
