S&B Ultimate Still Canceling mid duration

The sword and shield ultimate (I use the one which reflects) is still canceling itself at random times during its duration. This is without weapon swapping to animation cancel or weapon swapping at any point during the effect. I popped the ultimate and rolled a few times, maybe cast a skill or two.
