Concurrent Battleground quests

Will you please change it so we can have all battleground quests at the same time? Or, at the very least, combine the win and participate quests into one quest. Change it to 6 instead of 5 and have wins count as 2.

But why? Their purpose is encouraging doing BGs, it'd make no sense to change it around so it encourages people to do fewer BGs. It is also not how PvP quests work in general, you can't have kill DK, templar, sorc, NB and Warden at once, you also can't have capture quests for all the keeps simultaneously, etc.

Rewards are meh like i mean i kill 2 players in 20 secs i get more than 3k AP if you win bgs you get 3k AP and some trash and it can take a while...

I was thinking the same. Like a gw2 daily achievement style thing.

Don't agree with concurrent. I would like to see MORE BG quests, and let them be selectable.

The intent if probably like the kill player quests in Cyrodiil, to provide incentive to playing more BGs. Combining them would reduce that incentive.

The quests are selectable in that you can drop the quests and pick up another, just like the kill player quests in Cyrodiil. Do that until you get what you want.

It's not an incentive, it's a turn off. I'll play battlegrounds if they're fun. If they force me to play longer than I want to complete the quests that ceases to be fun. They need to *** can the gamer psychologist on staff. People will play the game if it's fun. If it's not fun they won't. All the things they do to monetize the game and make it arbitrarily take longer to complete is pure ***.

No one is forcing you to do anything though. If it's not fun, don't do it, quests don't change much. I wish there were more BGs quests, personally(bigger quest reward would also be nice), if I'm actually in BGs mood I could complete these quests 3 times over lol. If I'm not, Idc about the quests altogether.

Quests are more like "hm so I'm kinda having fun but I could also go do something else to have fun...oh but I have an unfinished quest. Suppose might as well finish it first" kind of thing. If you're more like in "omg BGs are so awful why am I doing this" mood, the quest won't/shouldn't keep you around and that's just fine.

I can certainly go do something else, so it's not a matter of feeling forced to do battlegrounds. It's the same problem as RNG, horse riding skill grind and trait research. They arbitrarily make it take longer than it should simply for the sake of making it take longer. It's as if they know the game is not good enough on it's own merits so they purposely make it take 90 days to max out your horse etc. That's what I mean by forced.

I'm not sure I follow. They make what take longer? When I'm in BGs moods I usually complete the quests pretty fast then regret there're no more quests as I do more BGs. When I'm not in BGs moods I complete 0 BGs quests a day or even a week and am perfectly fine with that. Are you only doing BGs for BGs quests? But why if so? I don't think there's an achievement associated with completing these, nor are the rewards anything amazing(imo they definitely could be buffed).

It sounds more like your playing for rewards than playing because you enjoy it. I don't think it takes a game psychologist to figure that out.

As others have pointed out, maybe go do something else if it's not fun.

battlegrounds being fun doesn't have anything to do with the quests tho... If u find them fun, I doubt those are even on your mind unless you just want the added ap. Also, it's an mmo so arbitrary lengthening is norm, why would you expecting a for profit company to do anything other than make a profit?

I have no problem with them making money. What I have a problem with is there hand always reaching for my wallet every time they find a convenient way to do so. For example, when they released housing without storage they thought we didn't need housing storage because they looked at how many characters had fully unlocked all storage space, both inventory and bank. There data showed that a lot of players had not unlocked all the slots so they felt we didn't need housing storage. What they failed to realize is the reason some don't unlock the extra storage space is because they don't want to pay the gold to do so. Some on principle.

So instead of adding storage to houses after launch they added double the bank space as a "perk" for subbing to ESO+. While some people might look at this as a smart business move I see it as deplorable. In every case they have to make quality of life improvements that people ask for they either don't do it or they monetize it. Just because you can make money doing something doesn't mean you should. I cancelled my sub when they announced the double bank space. This was also in part because Morrowind was an expansion and not a DLC. I was going to have to pay for Morrowind anyway so I used my crowns I received for subbing the previous 6 months and bought all DLC and cancelled my sub.

Personally, I'd like them to remove the crown store and the crown crates. I think both ruin games. I would much prefer paying them $15 a month for all content with the occasional added cost of a true expansion, not just "DLC", if there is a difference. I realize that won't happen but my first MMO was Star Wars Galaxies, a far superior game to ESO, and I compare everything to it, for better or worse and there are a lot of things from SWG that should be in ESO but won't be because of near-sightedness and the corporate disease.

As for battlegrounds, they are fun, I just see no reasoning behind only being able to have one quest at a time.
