Even though I feel I should be able to for free, considering how unstable you've allowed Xbox to remain for years.

I PVP

I watch PC streamers PVP and am amazed that they're not crashing 5+ times an hour at a 100 man siege fight.

Gotten to the point in Cyrodiil where I'm pressing inputs 2+ times(specially weapon swap) because I'm so paranoid they won't process.

Zenimax, you are officially giving me anxiety attacks. I'm never sure my character will be able to respond to my inputs during fights so I end up frantically mashing the same button multiple times out of sheer terror they will not process.

All I want is my Maelstrom weapons and CP, I'll pay whatever you want, I'LL BUY MORROWIND, I'LL PLAY A WARDEN I PROMISE!

My soul, you can have it, it's yours.

We all know you cannot effectively patch console or fix any major issues with it, we get it. You've proved your incompetence every day, every patch, every year.

Just let me transfer to PC, I'll do anything....

I'm really sorry that ZOS doesn't offer account transfer. I feel for you. You could try emailing @ZOS_JessicaFolsom directly to beg and plead.

I played from original launch to console launch on PC and took the transfer deal to Xbox where I played for ~10 months, and then decided to go back to #pcmasterrace. I was super bummed that I essentially gave up that 10 months of progress and crown purchases etc.

The big question is, WHY can't they just make all player accounts global and let players log in to whichever platform megaserver they want?? A more unified community and more closely connected playerbase would be GREAT for this game. Also they would get MAJOR industry acclaim and praise for developing this!

Edit for clarity: I don't mean that console players and PC players would be on the same server

From what I remember, there was some kind of legit technical reason they could only transfer accounts during the Console Launch. Something about copying data tables or the data for Consoles being "fresh"? I have no idea what the specifics were, but I think the gist is, now that both Console and PC has been going on, Character Data can't just "easily" be moved from one to the other and still be able to work. Again, I have no idea what I'm saying, it's just what I remember reading from the official reason ZoS gave.

I've been playing 2 years on Console now, so much progress and Crown stuff bought, but I also bought a PC copy on Steam when it was dirt cheap and spent a couple hours trying it, and it's so better there it's gross. Zones and interiors load immediately, and just the fact that you can plug in your Controller and play the PC version like it's on Console makes it PERFECT cause I'm so used to a Controller's feel. I'm so sick and tired of ESO being so unstable on Console that if they finally offered platform transfers I would not hesitate to pay.

We have not built, and do not plan to build, the capability to move individual characters from platform to platform. We were only able move characters in bulk for console once on June 1st 2015 because the database tables we copied to were brand new (empty). Now that the database tables are filled with other data, the techniques we used before no longer work.

So. Basically. They don't acknowledge that it's not impossible. They just refuse to do it.

My girl plays on Xbox, the lag, graphics and 3-4 minute load screens are just sad.

Look on the bright side op. As a console player you're too preoccupied by bugs and lag to worry about balance and design flaws.

I think the issue with transfering now is due to unique account data, like character names, and acount names.

Say someone on the other system used your character's name, it would cause mean the transfer character would have to be modify so it could be transfer, and they'll require to process all of your characters and your account bank. Which again they'll probably have to process all of the gear. Like having crafted gear from someone that doesn't exist or owned by other on the other system.

Also probably the issue of transfering gear/items, someone could have farmed rare items and try to move to another system to exploit the market.

I don't see an issue as long as you don't get to keep any items that could be sold or traded. Every platform has a different economy and they could potentially be ruined or damaged if a bunch of people start switching platforms with all their items.
