Why is it that 6 points in alch and prov goes to Fghtrs gld when the other 4 trades go to Privateer?

Turning in crafting writs:

5 points goes to Fighters.
6 points goes to Privateers.
7 points goes to Craglorn.

I never understood why Alch and Prov doubled on Fighters on 5 and 6, and skipped Privateer.

Is there a reason for it, or just another screw up?

No, it's because alchemy and provisioning have different tier thresholds from equipment. A level 21 character would be using tier 3 potions, but tier 2 armor and weapons.

Potions and provisioning advance through the tiers faster until you hit 50, at that point equipment tiers flee the building, and jump five tiers before you get to level cap.

It has to do with how the original vet zones were laid out. Originally, once you hit vet, there was only a single alchemy and provisioning tier available, while gear went up to tier 9.

EDIT: Oh, yeah. No, there's no real Coldharbour tier for alchemy or provisioning.
