Are you part of the Ebonheart Pact faction? If so, you will get Pact emails. Neither your race, mount, or armor have any influence on what faction you chose.

You have a Pact alt, who you took into Cyrodiil. When you logged in on your DC character, you see the email for your pact character. The only tricky thing is, there's a markup code that will always display your current character's name. Log onto an alt, and it will change. You can see this with undaunted and PvP messages. You know, like this.

Alternately, you're a Pact spy and a traitor to the Covenant.

I do have a pact alt, but the last time I took it into cyrodiil was months ago.

During the event I almost entirely played either my DC toon or my AD toon.

I would understand if it was an AD mail, in that case, yeah, I would think the same, except it was EP, alliance that I just don't play in PvP

You're asking me to "assume" certain things because you didn't directly say them. To "assume" is always a less intelligent act to engage in. You're asking me to engage in "common sense", but also "make assumptions". It's common sense to not assume anything. Make up your mind please.

Or it could be subtle PsyOps: we will show the Bretons we have wealth and also that we know their names and can get to them any time. Any. Time.

The first thing my common sense told me is that you're probably a breton EP who mistakenly thought he was DC, tbh. Wouldn't be the first time since One Tam that someone having the All Races All Alliances upgrade chose their alliance wrong by mistake(though your cp seems a bit high for that). Just saying.

Given you seem to actually be of DC alliance(which has no correlation whatsoever with your race, mount and armor style) and you haven't recently taken your EP alt into Cyrodiil, I'd assume a bug. *shrug*
