Trap beast?

So when I use trap beast on smaller enemies (ads) trap beast works fine, but when I use it on bosses, it just disappears. Is that a glitch or can it only be used on smaller enemies?

NolaArch✭✭✭✭✭It may be that you're not seeing the light from it because "Target is Immune." Bosses won't be snared, but the damage will still tick. It just doesn't work the same way on bosses due to their immunities.
