Assassination Skill - Killer Blade
I am level 10 and all my skills have raised to be morphed but Killer Blade is still only at Level I (50%). I am hunting at Hozzin's Folly and only using that skill but it is leveling like a snail. Anyone out there know what I could be doing wrong?

Raeph✭✭✭Using the skill doesn't level it up. Just having it on your bar whenever you get xp will level it up, along with every other skill on the bar.Edited by Raeph on July 29, 2017 5:10PM0 -

✭✭Killer's Blade is a morph. The base skill is Assassin's Blade
Morphed abilities take significantly longer to level. Like Raeph said, skills only need to be slotted when you gain xp to progress.2 -
Using a skill does not get gains? I understand having a skill that you are not using like a two-handed skill when equipped a sword and Board will still gain. But I never heard that actually using a skill does not increase level quicker. All my other skill leveled much quicker using them. If that was the case I have had Killer Blade on my bar the whole time, and with what you have told me, it should have increased like the others to level IV.

Using a skill gets the same gains as your other slotted abilities when you get xp. Killer's Blade itself is already a morph, and morphed abilities require a significantly increased amount of xp to level up.2 -

NolaArch✭✭✭✭✭Also, rather than farming mobs for XP to level a skill, try doing some dungeons and the quests in there. The quest should reward some really good XP. Also, queue up for your random dungeon daily. Significant XP gain there.Ardat-Yakshii EP Stam NB
