I still load up a new game of Skyrim SE sometimes. I like to explore, combat is really bad in both ESO and Skyrim but so long as there's places to discover and lore to uncover, I'm content.

Never really noticed it till now but I tend to use the same class/race in Skyrim, every playthrough. Breton conjuration/archer :|

I have played Morrowind (it was my first Elder Scrolls game), Oblivion, Skyrim, and now ESO.
To be completely honest if they had already released an Elder Scrolls 6 I probably would never have started ESO. However after several hundred hours spent happily wandering around Skyrim I was ready for some new Elder Scrolls and had been thinking about Elder Scrolls on line for several years so I thought (after I vetted enough things about it first) I would give it a try.

And while I love Elder Scrolls online I will likely leave it for a very long time when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out.
I like my massively single player games.

And when I think about it I wonder if that concept is part of the reason why they are waiting so long on releasing Elder Scrolls 6.

I stopped playing Skyrim a while ago. It was the only game I played for a couple of years and that every single day for 6 - 8 hours. I still love the game but I really felt like I needed to take a break for a year. Or two. But I did create my ESO characters with the thought in mind that they are the ancestors of my Skyrim characters.

I played Skyrim a lot more a while back, but the new Skyrim SE and the lack of SKSE64 has crimped my playing (and modding) these days.

I have played the hell out of Skyrim (4000+ hours) but pretty much stopped playing it after ESO appeared. I do get a bit tear-eyed nostalgic whenever I hear the Oblivion score in game - I really wish Bethesda would update that game... patiently waiting for Skyblivion.

Two of my chars are vampires in Skyrim, but they are not yet in ESO. Two other chars are grand... grand... grandmothers of one my skyrim char.

I played Skyrim before jumping over to ESO and haven't touched it since. My ESO characters are completely separate from my Skyrim character, although I did make my first/main ESO character a stealthy archer type because that's what I did in Skyrim and I liked the playstyle.

I play Skyrim during ESO's maintenance sessions, and my Skyrim characters tend to be descendants of ESO ones. :)

Incidentally, I started ESO first, and I've never looked back as far as become a TES fan is concerned. I had no idea what I'd been missing...

And the beauty of playing Skyrim second is that I could base those characters on my ESO ones, not the other way round. No need to "prequel" anything...

    @SilverPaws that's pretty cool!

@Thealteregoroman thank you :) But its shame i can't make my khajiit in skyrim look same as in eso.

Yes I do. My main in ESO is more or less the same character as my main in Skyrim. And Oblivion. And Morrowind. Even when I play non-ESO games, my main character is always me.

-glances down at her signature- Yup. :) I've got an orc who is an ancestor of my main Skyrim character.

Hey! I was using a bunch of your mods before I had to nuke my skyrim and fallout installs from orbit. It was the only way to be sure.

I didn't take an arrow to the knee. I took an arrow to my left foot. My own arrow, while teaching a class about archer safety. I was attempting to explain the difference between "correct" and "incorrect" bow usage... while holding the bow in the "incorrect" position, to show as an example of what not to do, I accidentally released the arrow.

Which is why you shouldn't do that.

I did. I created a backstory that after the great war, dragonknights had something to do with uprising of dragons that killed my parents in skyrim, so i tried to form a hunter / nb themed guild to hunt dragonknights down.

    I'm descendant of fearsome NB of ESO-era, Mikeo-Massikeisari. :D
    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

I used to play Skyrim, then I took an arrow to the knee and started to play ESO but took an arrow to the head and now Im playing Ghost Recon Wildlands and ready to shoot an arrow to Conan Exiles PS4 when it launches. Ghost Recon is actually quite fun as its quite challenging, btw.

You bet I still play Skyrim! , well, Skyrim SE these days :p .

I totally love the looks of ESO, but honestly with all the mods I have for Skyrim SE, the graphics both environment and characters are 100% hands down WAY BETTER then ESO.

Skyrim and ESO both have their advantages/disadvantages, this is what keeps me playing Skyrim even to this day.
