You'll find the forums contain nothing more than trolls and dedicated fanboys who don't want to admit that their beloved ESO is a shambles and in need of a lot of tlc to fix the multitude of issues. I've tried to raise various issues through various means and ZoS just don't care. You contract customer service and they tell you to post in the forums so that the trolls and dedicated fanboys wear you down to the point you just shut up and get on with it. ESO is a good game but it's also highly flawed throughout. As the head of ZoS once said though "You don't have to be here." Pretty much sums things up. Unlike the rest I wish you luck and hope that one day ZoS may actually care enough to fix the things that matter.

That's my line (and hook).

Interesting perspectives all over this thread. Nuggets of truth even in opposing viewpoints, IMHO. Thanks for sharing!!
Just to summarize my thoughts.....
ESO is a GREAT game for the many that enjoy it, not just good. It has the potential to be a VERY great game, but......
It has issues, some very serious. The stability and problems getting into the game are probably the most dangerous and must be solved quickly.
Things are being worked on with mixed results.
Balance and other changes *** many of us off. Some of us leave, some shrug and adapt, some "whatever" and not affected by the change of the moment.
Community is less toxic than others, but there are trolls. Oh well.
Fanboyz are real. Admit you are biased. I am, and I try not to be. It's hard lmao.
We are passionate because we love the game and want it to succeed.
I love PVE and PVP, glad to see they finally had a PVP event. Many enjoyed, even with all the issues.
It will never be perfect.
Later.

I admit the lag in both game modes has been bad of late for me. But i have found because of this event i tried battlegrounds and loved it. I was not a hardcore pvp player but when i did pvp i always had fun and enjoyed the pve break.
This game needs both modes and a way to find the sweet spot between the two.
Chill out, it will get better

Like I said I think ESO was the best mmo I have played in a long time.
I was even subed until the shenanigans with the morrwind cash grab but that is another story
Yes the community is very toxic but I state my opinion to improve the game I don't mind diffing opinions and encourage constructive criticism.
I ignore you are stupid etc comments
I do understand why they are changing eso to pvp game.
1. PVP is popular
2. pvp is alot cheaper to add than pve
3. And it is easier to nerf than to buff
That said The shift to pvp is ruining PVE and the main reason I play ESO
As far as the technical issues go pvp takes up alot more system resources and zmax had alot of time to fix it.
And they received ton of cash from morrowind.
I hope they get things fixed because the game in it's present condition is not enjoyable and I am currently useing my game time playing something else

Most PVP does pvp it's just trying show off but most is cc warriors or no lifers or gold buyers.
PVP that fits in the context of the story like the campaigns is ok but not really interested,
What I don't like is while trying to balance for PVP they nerf any fun skills you use in pve

Now gold buyers are PvP's fault too?
Unbelievable. smh
