Suggestion: Add Crafting Bonus Armor

It would be amazing if they added in some sort of set that gives bonuses to crafting.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of bonuses would work.

But for example: A 3-set armor bonus that gives additional deconstruction inspiration.

Or maybe: A 5-set armor bonus that gives a % chance to save one improvement material such as a temper, tannin, or resin.

Another option: A 5-set bonus that gives a % chance to create an additional potion, food, or drink.

Perhaps: A 5-set bonus that increases the likelihood of recovering material on deconstruction.

What do you think?

I doubt the devs want to create a situation where you change into a different set of clothes just to craft things. That does not sound like fun.

There is a trait you can get called Intricate which gives 280% inspiration gained though deconstructing that item.

For the extra food/drink/potion there are skills for that that will make 4x whatever you make.

There is also a skill with making back the items on deconstruction, same with the improvement items they have a skill that will let you save materials on improvement too.

I don't think we need a set like that honestly.

EQ2 did have crafter set, not easy to get complete set but doable with better RNG, other MMO really have very bad RNG that make rage quit or burnout.

sure, why not, i would like to see "crafter set" for new gems (Baker, Tailor, Alchemy, Blacksmith, Wood, and Engraver.)
just only 3 set parts for 1. Aprons, 2. Gloves, and 3. Caps/Goggles.

Yeah that does sound like a mild annoyance. But I'm sure the benefits would far outweigh the minor hassle of switching gear on.

I'm not against the idea of these crafting bonuses. This kind of utility could be fun and interesting. But attaching it to a gear set is a bad idea. There are surely better ways to implement it.

For example, maybe they could tie it into housing and let you somehow acquire these bonuses for your own crafting stations. I think most of us can agree that housing could really use more fun utility functionality.

It worked in skyrim as your effectively in your own separate world but in an mmo it would be pure chaos to the economy, the complexity alone would have confused threads popping up like daisies

It would be a monumental pain in the butt for crafters. Given the ZOS hatred towards that particular group I can absolutely see them implementing it. :/
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".
