Help with battlegrounds?

When the event started I managed to win my first battleground and I was so excited to get my achievement... but guess what? after two hours of attempting to win one, the achievement did not trigger and I found out that battlegrounds was broken Via the forums. I believe it has been fixed on PS4 EU now...however last night I spent another 2 hours trying to win...and failed.. (I'm in no way blaming my team, everyone I teamed with was very good, but I'm not so great... !) I don't get much time on ESO in the afternoons as I work, and tonight I plan to try and win another one if its possible! but I could do with some tips? what is the best way to win these things?

    What platform are you? If PC EU I can help quick

    The big bit is to just know how to turn defence to offence, time burst, move effectively and sustain

    The best way to win is to focus on the objectives.

    In Capture the Flag and Domination actually taking/defending is going to win a match, killing is helpful but not going to score points.

    In Deathmatch get the power buff when it spawns, try to stay as a team and have other teams between you and the enemy and not yourself sandwiched.

    If you can get voice comms for a group it really helps, talk and don't be scared to say tactics or call enemy locations.

    I only ever got one Deathmatch, and that was the one which we won! however the event was broken then. Since then all I have been getting is capturing the flag things. I have a damage dealer who needs to complete this really...however I could use my tank? would a tank be a better option? Also I am on PS4 EU. I tried to group with some friends last night who said they could try to help however it would not let us all in? can you not group in battlegrounds with friends?
