I'm only at CP 610 after 1000 hours of playing. I haven't done too much straight grinding though. Only during holiday events when there is double XP.

The best you can do is grind for 4-5 hours a day in Skyreach during the upcoming Halloween event. You won't hit max CP, but you'll make some ground. Of course, you can always start grinding now too (it'll just be super slow with no potions or super expensive with them).

If you want just CP then grinding will be fastest.

    Skyreach with a partner.
XP consumable (150% if you can afford them)
Ring of Mara (+10% if you both have the rings on)
    ESO+ (+10%)
    Altmer Character (+1%)

If you want to have fun, do dailies, do random dungeon queues daily (100k XP), just keep playing a lot and you'll catch up.

You're past the 300 point so you're fine to do all the games content, yes it'll get better with more but you're fine on gear and basics of points to spend.

Also remember that with each increase the required values for lower levels goes down.

Most exp per mob is in sewers. Find good spot with zombs buy exp pots and start rolling. You might get ganked by some other players but it makes it less boring than zone farm or skyreach... Good luck.

Also you get telvars and with shards you can open chests and get some goodies or just sell...

    Imo best farm for CP...

I find sewers IC way more exp then Skyreach the old willpower spot is crazy fast exp I have gone hours of grinding and never had anyone come by.
Most of the action in IC is up top now and bc you can get key fragments anywhere not many gankers go to that spot.

Yeah, "Vet" is either 160 or 300. 630 is mostly bragging rights, or people who never really learned the game, but think that's what you need have to be elite. Or, I suppose, people who've been told that enough times that they believe it.

You're already good to go. Have fun.

You definitely don't get more XP from Sewers than Skyreach. Skyreach is head and shoulders better than any other grind spot.

Sewers (or any zombie grind spot) are good if you want a change of pace, or if you can't solo Skyreach.

If you're at 450, you are Vet ready.

Stat bonuses stop at CP300 (H/M/S). Gear stops at CP160.

You're actually in a good spot. Just keep doing what you (like to) do, don't let your enlightenment go unused more than 12 days in a stretch, and you'll hit cap eventually.

Seems like it takes forever to get there, even more so when they occasionally raise it 30 points here and there, but you will gain on it if you play even a decent amount.

If you grind 180 points, you're going to be so burnt out by the time you get there you won't want to do anything.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

To be honest, i find Skyreach pretty much useless since Morrowind, XP seemed to be nerfed, that'S where i leveled my CPs when i got back in january, from about 180-560 (the cp cap we had pre-Homestead) in about a month, was pretty effective and that's the only i did exept when my RL friends were on we did pledges.. but i went back in there with a friend after Morrowin to run each others new baby Wardens, and it was way longer now to run it at the point we foundit pointless, to be honest, finding yourself a public dungeons that stuff spawn fast and not much people are in can be quite more effective, cuz ZoS might not have tounched and lower those mobs XP, so many thread been made about Skyreach carry being sold and people didn't liekd that, so many videos etc.. that for sure ZoS had to take care of this.

I'm not tellling where i now level my skills etc when needed now, since i don't want it to be nerfed even though people goes there, but better that way. :) But public dungeons in any zones are pretty useful. Fast repsawn and lots of mobs groups if you can aoe. Just find the one you like better, we all have our crush, as for me, i hate Dwemers archetecture, so i don'T go in those publuc dungeons. :P

As for skyreach, i thin now, at your cp, around 500 cp, when i got there to be more effective i started using 150% pots, now i presume you really need them if you want to lvl fast, but are pretty expensive. :)

But cp 450 is pretty good :) You can get cps 630+ in some Vet DLC that keeps getting you killed because of dumbness, so that's not the only things that matters. :)

If you didn't worry about getting CP what would you be doing to enjoy the game?

As long as your answer is not gathering, crafting or fishing, go do that! The CP will come.

Grinding is a complete waste of time if you intend to play the games quests in full on multiple characters. Take it from someone who can take a game vacation for years and still be above the cap.

If you only intend on playing one character and have done every quest that you intend to do, then perhaps grinding isn't a waste. And in that case just grind skyreach catacombs, and sell runs to one person while you are doing it for the 10% extra and some side gold.
