Returning player question about paying for dlc/expansion

Hey,
So i bought the digital deluxe edition when game came out, then quit after a month.
Now i returned and i see that a game have couple of dlc's.
The gold edition at my local shop cost as much, with comes with all the dlc's, as much as 1500 crowns.
So i would be paying over 3 times as much for the dlc.
Can i buy gold edition and the dlc will be added to my account or does it only work with new accounts ?
And if not is there an option for me to buy some upgrade to get all the dlc + the expansion.
Thanks for the info,
cheers

You can't apply a gold key to an already active account sadly.

If you already have an account with some DLC unlocked and want the rest you will either need to buy them with Crowns or pay for ESO+ (subscription) to gain access to them.

They do sometimes do sales of the DLC in the Crown Store but this is normally around the DLC's birthday so you've missed those chances this year I believe.

Morrowind is an Expansion/Chapter so has a stand alone cost and can't be purchased from the Crown Store nor via ESO+

Hope that helps, if I misunderstood or you need more info just ask. :)

I do not have any dlc, i left the game before any of them were added.
I recently watched a video about eso in 2017, so i figured would come back in.
And if i buy eso plus do some of bonuses remain after it's expires ?

No if your ESO+ sub end you lose access to all the DLC areas/dungeons (but not the items you have from them).

If you have no DLC right now I personally would say ESO+ is the better deal as you'll get the bonuses from that (XP, Gold & Inspiration bonus, double bank space, double housing item limit, crafting bag).

If you just play casually however you can just pick up each DLC as you need new content to play and it would be cheaper over all.

I mean bonuses like Double Furnishings and Collectibles space in player housing.
Exclusive ability to dye costumes and double bank slots.
From what i see on eso plus website, those bonuses will remain after plus expires or am i wrong ?

Personally, I would sub for a month, get all the DLC, try it and see if you like it. There will be enough there to keep you happy and exploring for 4 weeks. Then if you like it, you can buy Morrowind at a later date.

double bank space kinda remains, the extra items stay in your bank you just can't add anymore to your bank until you remove the extra items, crafting bag remains with all the items in it you just won't be able to add any more to it, costumes you have dyed will remain dyed you just won't be able to dye anymore or change the ones already dyed, not sure how the extra space for housing works but I'd guess the same
