What do you think a fair price is for all of the Morrowind content?

First...can we keep this thread civil? I'm not flaming...others with opinions aren't flaming...just trying to have a discussion and see what others think.

Now that I've had time to explore and try out the various Morrowind content, I have to admit...I feel a bit ripped off. I just do. ESO is my one game and I love it, but I felt like we were promised that these costly chapters would be BIG expansions. For $40 I didn't expect to get double what the vanilla game offers...but I was hoping for a lot. The zone is okay, but not fantastic. The Warden was something the game could have introduced regardless. Battlegrounds are a pile of Molag Bol poop...and that's quite a burn, you have no idea how much corn he eats.

So I'm genuinely interested...what does everyone feel was a fair price for this upgrade?

Fair's fair, I'll explain my price point.

I feel okay with the decision to make this a real-world cash purchase. Not only does it help their balance sheet (I'm sure this is a big part of it), but by having a product that goes through the promotion and release cycle they can bring new players to the game. And that's important if we want it to thrive. I have been happy to see so many new players.

If I'd been asked to drop $20 cash on it, I don't think I'd feel burned. I'd feel that was maybe a little pricey, but reasonable. I'd still be writing posts that they needed to do a better job with battlegrounds, and maybe have included a little more on Vvardenfell.

So for the next chapter, I'll wait until I can get it for $20, and if I can't I will probably pass.

Those who support $40 deserve to be cheated. Long awaited features that has to be part of the Base game, an important game update, a class that has been in the game since beginning, and a zone with less content than orsinium. ALSO people bought keys for morrowind gör €1.5 thanks to some bug and zos hasn't removed those keys. The players that had bought €1.5 keys have access to ALL content of morrowind as well as the preorder bonuses. Those that bought preorder (including me) were cheated by ZOS and they did respond with an automated response to our support tickets.

Subbed player paid for the developing of Morrowind, and now i need to pay again, not cool.
I have no problem if they want some money but 40$ for already paying users is waaaaayyyyyyy too much.

25$ for the DLC(STFU with chapter its a DLC) is ok for non ESO+.
10-15$ would be a fair price for ESO+ but it needs some kind of requirement like 3-6 months subbed that it wont be abused.

Im wonder already how much the next years dlc price will be.
    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

It was $53cad. A little high if you ask me. ~30-40 would've been much better

And so, Akatosh revealed himself to a young Gaben, and granted him purpose.
"Grant them Steam sales," he commanded.
    And obey, he did.

    Not worth much to me.

Mainly because rather than delivering the long promised spellcrafting, they gave us a new class and no option to change into it.

I wouldn't have minded at all starting the game fresh with new characters in this class, except for the godawful time-gated grinds of horse feeding and to a lesser extent, trait research.

So I'm stuck with a bunch of characters I can't delete because that horse feeding grind is one of my most hated features of any game. I've suffered through it with those characters and they're done with it.

Because of that, Morrowind is worth a LOT less to me. If I'd been able to change their class / or start fresh but keep their horse feeding, I'd have bought Morrowind. I had the money at one point and was even considering the CE.

Another noteworthy misstep would be the Telvanni towers. They took one of my very favourite homes from any computer game and turned it into a giant tumurous man-bit. To add insult to injury, they stuck that monstrosity in the crown store.

A good implementation of the Telvanni tower, acquirable with in-game gold would have added significant value to this expansion.

Bought the collector edition upgrade myself but I think it should have been priced around 4000 crowns . Even though ZOS might have faced 2 problems :>
1)ESO+ members would have demanded it to be included in the service , which is very impractical.
2)Massive crown sales prior to the Morrowind release might have reduced it's cost significantly.People has stacked a lot of it at reduced price .

Saying all these. Being a huge fan of ES3 (my second best elder scrolls) I loved it and battleground is my type of PVP content even though AvA is fun too .

Elder Kings II is a Role Playing Elder Scrolls mod for Crusader Kings III.

So you think the only thing that costs the company money is developing content? What about servers, internet, support staff, rent for offices... if this is too much for you to afford then don't buy it or play the game. I can see the bigger picture, I enjoy the game and can understand that a company needs to make money to keep the doors open!

I waited until it went on sale. £40 for an expansion was/is ridiculous. I got Mass Effect, Horizon etc all cheaper when they were first released. If people thought Morrowind was a fair price, then that's their prerogative. I do however question the mentality of people who think others must be 'poor' just because they won't pay any amount, for any amount of content. They need to get out more and live in the real world, where they'll soon realise most of us have more than 2 brain cells.

The price seems a little bit high for what was included but I did not think it was terribly overpriced after playing through the content.

For the amount of end-game content included it's hard to justify $40. IMHO, players who have been subbed since a certain date should have gotten a discount.
