How do you get HarvestMap merge data work?
I have been trying to get the HarvestMap addon merge data to populate my in-game map for several days now on both my PC and Mac. I have uploaded my harvesting data and received the new harvest map files from the HarvestMap website. However, I cannot get the harvesting data to actually show on my map. My own harvesting data shows up, but not everyone else's data. What am I doing wrong?

✭✭✭Harvest map will not show others data, ever. The merge is to update your own markers with possibly newer locations, and to give data to improve future versions of HarvestMap.
The way this is worded on esoui is really confusing.
Edit: The more I think about how HarvestMap merge works, I'm beginning to suspect that this data powers the farming bots. What more powerful way to keep your bots up to date than have legit players feed you data? Same with the "route mapping" function of HarvestMap. After uploading your files it will allow you to download files with the merged data. Did you download those files and place them in the proper place? I am pretty sure they go in the saved variables folder.0 -
I got it to work on my PC, but I still can't get it to work on my Mac. I have done the exact same thing as I did on my PC, but I can't get it to work. Any ideas?0
