What an oversight.

Can this please be changed? there's level 2 dungeons easier for people than Mazzatun.

Really frustrating trying to farm amberplasm when half my team consists of inexperienced wardens below level 50
I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.

The question is why your group allows low player requirements. You have expectations? Don't play within a random group make your own group with your own rules.

Mazzatun is not a problem for lower levels.

Let's talk about Imperial City Prison...

(but yes, the group finder should place people in those dungeons at the "recommended" levels, which are 30-35 for the DLC dungeons)

One Tamriel happened. Don't like what you get from the random group finder? Too bad. They have just as much right to be there as you. If you want a 'good' team you need to organize one yourself.

Can't possibly be any fun for low levels to get this dungeon and not be able to finish it lul

RoM ain't bad. If I can tank WGT reg on a DPS, an actual tank with heavy armor and sword/board will do admirably there too.

What I'd like to see is a choice to skip DLC dungeons though. I paid for them, I should get to decide whether or not I do them (Think how the ones who don't own the DLC, and can't get in, are flagged as "do not place here").

The thing is, low levels dont want to be there either aswell as the high levels wanting them not to be there.

Its not fair to put such low levels into the hardest and longest dungeons in the game.

Because they bought it is a *** excuse, it should be level locked until new players or low levels have the skills and abilities unlocked.

Low levels like 10-14 always seem to end up in DLC as there is a very small pool of available dungeons open to them once they ding 10 and queue for random. The dungeons avilable would be banished cells 1/2, elden hollow 1/2 Spindleclutch 1/2, ICP, WGT, RoM, CoS.

Well by this logic they should be able to play the level locked dungeons as well cause they PAID for the base game but will ignore that

Don't wanna questions with low levels then I suggest you find a group of people in your own, that way you can make the rules. You know what's going to happen when you use group finder so stop using it if it frustrates you.

Like I said, people saying they should be able to play dlc because they bought it seem to have overlooked the fact that they also bought the base game and cannot access level locked dungeons.

    Construed argument.

a couple of things you might want to consider...

first off, if all you are doing is farming it, then do it on normal (you can even go and do it on you own and just farm a couple of bosses then re-set and repeat)

second, even though their char levels are low, they may well have completed these dungeons many times before on high-level alts, so they might even know the dungeons better than you do...it's worth asking them when the group gets formed

Another thread about the random group finder putting you with random people lol if you're looking to farm a dungeon make your own group or run with guildies. I'd never farm a dungeon with randoms unless I knew I could solo it and just wanted extra people to speed it up slightly

Don't make assumptions. I'm willing to bet that my under-50 max cp Warden could carry you through nRoM.

Sure, I have too, I've been carrying 95% of RoM normal queues for 4-5 days now.

A solution I've come up with is to just run ahead and do all the skips, usually the inexperienced players quit out by the slaver fight...

So are you saying that if you rolled a new character you wouldn't be able to carry your own wait in a normal DLC dungeon? I wouldn't have any issues.

If they bought Shadows of the Hist, they paid for access to that specific content. Someone can just form their own group if they don't want to deal with them. No sense in acting like this is an issue that needs to be resolved. ~Pibb

Ah but that the problem isn't it? They paid for all of it and they can access those dungeons even at low level, but that was part of the base game. Now we are talking about something above and beyond the base, IE they bought fries with their burger. When they paid for extra content above the base game they are then entitled to that content. Unless ZOS somehow comes up with the idea to level lock purchases.

Say they bought a house in game, should they be able to use that house? Or should ZOS say nope you don't have enough skills to use what you paid for. The DLC is no different in principle. It may be an inconvenience for some but it's also their right to use what they paid for.

I only use group finder for the random on a regular basis. If I'm going for the pledges I will group with people I know and only then if we can't get all 4 will we use the gf. Lastly if I did decide to use the gf I would slot skill to insure I could atleast survive if everyone else wiped.

Personally I would accept the challah get and give it a try, if it doesn't work out then oh well it's a game. I learned a long time ago to just accept what the gf throws at you, because if you don't you're just gonna be upset and not enjoy it for what it is. Honestly watching some low level players can be awfully amusing at times.

Considering nRoM can be completed by lvl10s I dont see this as a problem, in fact, contrary to popular opinion I am GLAD new players can do this content at lvl10 because it makes them better players than they otherwise would be.

I don't care if its inconvenient for your farm. make a pre-made if you are farming. Amberplasm is a popular set these days.

P.S. SotH has been out for a year, you should have LONG SINCE gotten all the Amberplasm pieces you needed from there. I have every conceivable piece from there and have since long before Amberplasm became the flavor of the week.

So you ruin the experience for anyone who happens to land in your group because you want to farm? If you ever did that to me, the Vote to Kick would be pointing at you.

Hardly any bought the DLC to run the DLC dungeons on low level caracters,
They either bought the gold version with the DLC, they use ESO+ or they bought them for high level characters and find they can not effectivly run random normal's with their level 15 as they will get too many kicks or failed runs.

If you don't have DLC or ESO+ you get dungeons after your level and the last non dlc normal ones unlock at level 45.
Now you can say this limit is too high today, lots of low level are alt with good gear and knowledge on how to play you also get cp players running randoms for fast xp or farm an normal dungeon.

An no I have no issues getting 3 low level players then doing random normal in the non dlc ones.
Level 10 in DLC is not fun for them or others.
Simply put an level restriction then queuing for random normal, remove restriction for selected dungeons but give an warning.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Regardless of level the difference between the base game and add on dungeons still exists. One was an extra purchase no matter how that transaction was made be it plus, crowns or otherwise bundled.

Like I said it would be better to not go the random route when working for something. Your asking for a difficult time. You may end up with high level players but that doesn't equal skill, it's a measure of time spent in the game.
It's just easier to pick up a group in chat or do them with friends.
