Apology towards pvp'ers

I, and probably many other pve'ers, would like to apologize for the past and coming week of PVP behavior.

I am sorry that battlegrounds don't have a matchmaking system, which results in people, like me, coming into battlegrounds with mostly pve equipment expecting to have fun, and above all, a chance to win.

I am sorry cyrodiil gets laggy and has long queues when we queue up to join in an attempt to get the 50 killing blows/capture a keep achievements.

I am sorry I do not follow the advice from pro-pvp'ers who are such a nice group of people telling me to "get good" or "just grind pvp gear for some weeks" (censored version displayed here), in order to participate in a 2-week event.

I, most of all, am really sorry 50 killing blows takes quite a lot of time without proper pvp gear, and thus I will keep this behaviour up untill either I have achieved the killing blow count, or the event is over.

Please be aware the dungeon finder is split according to gear and skill level (in contrast to the pvp queue). If you are new to pve and just want to have fun, queue for the beginner (aka normal queue) in order to keep everyone happy.

No . It will be vet only , all impen gear , prosperous swords on magic class . It's only fitting after two weeks of this .

I am sorry that I went to pvp with my trial gear and stole 50 killing blows from all those good dps players.
I am sorry I walked up to a keep and got AP for something I didn't participate in.
I am sorry I used up everyones soul gems.

It's really annoying me how this community is divided into two factions of PvEers and PvPers. It's just a game, who gives a *** about your playstyle. You won't get banned (maybe you'll be kicked) for being n00b in PvP/E. People who whispering insults to you are idiots and should be ignored. We should socialize thanks to events like this, not isolate more.

My tip is not to grind gear for several weeks just craft an impen set it takes about 5 min and works fine. Then just put on one of your many monster sets. ( Atleast I have them in most traits after farming for divines. XD) Finish with your sharp VMA weapon and old will power/agi gear.

But even if you don't do that no1 should blame people for playing. This even is great because maybe some of you pve guys might stay around. The more the merrier.

I'm not sorry for Jesus Beaming every unlucky soul that crosses my line of sight. It's hilarious when Skoria happens to proc at low health and "executes" them! I've already gotten 11 hate mail messages so far from folks salty about it. I've even stopped several destro-bombs cold with Remembrance, lol. I feel like the chaos I help sow into Cyrodiil is an important service to the community.

I decided to play ESO for the first time in months just for this event and the undying hatred I've instilled in others this week has been worth it. Easiest 50 kills I've ever gotten for an achievement. I literally press one button and win the fight, lmfao. The only way to play in Cyrodiil effectively anymore as a non-NB is by being in a zerg, so why not use what's effective, right?

Yup. WAY easier for kills in BG's. AP isn't as good though.. Cyrodiil for that.

I'm not sorry for getting into queues and checking out PvP and then deciding I want to keep coming back. Initially, yeah, the event is what helped me get past my own issues about trying it. That and booze. But once I got in there, holy crap, so much fun. So, I don't think its completely a bad thing. More people are checking it out and yeah it sucks for the people who have lived and breather PvP for ages, I do get that. But finding out that this thing that was pretty intimidating for me is more fun than anything else is for me right now in the game, I'm really excited about that. And I imagine that I am not the only person that has a new found love for Cyrodiil.

Whenever I kill someone who's obviously a PvEer, I usually message them to give them encouragement and some advice on what they did wrong. I want to help them out and really foster a positive learning environment, while reinforcing the fact that just because we may be on different sides of ESO doesn't mean we have to be on different sides of life. I like to think this game has the power to bring people together through healthy competition, so that we can really develop strong friendships that are truly cherishable.

So, in parting, Id like to leave you with the words I left a struggling mag sorc. The determined fella was trying to block my DK's onslaught and while I was heartened by his optimism, I thought I'd give him some constructive feedback as well as reinforce the fact that it's OK to be new, that we were alll new at one time, and that were all in this together. Those words?

I hope he took those kind words to heart. I think of myself as a positive role model for these fellows. Glad I can help spread kinship and cheer during this holiday event.
