The other day someone was linking a Gold, Level 100, CP160 Ring of Willpower in the zone chat.

Was this a glitch or a hacked item or something?

    They just modified the item code for the link, its fairly easy to do. No it was not a real item.

    They just modified the item code for the link, its fairly easy to do. No it was not a real item.

    This. Sometimes there are people trolling in zone chat, linking cp160 blue Maelstrom weapons and other things that dont exist in game.

    Yes it can be done on xbox, you just type the code in the chat window

    OP, link an item in chat, then copy/paste that item out of game. It'll look like [h:001u3001] or something.

    That code determines everything about that item, from level to quality.

    The item doesn't actually exist. The items are not altered in any way. You actually don't even need an item even close to this. You just type out the fancy string of code that determines the item - and can change the quality etc. to show whatever you so desire.

    Saw an cp180 crafted ring of BSW once :)

    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
