The big picture is that BiS changes in the upcoming update based on the type of content you play ... so players are encouraged to read up in PTS.1 -

✭The good news is that the balance between damage-oriented traits is now extremely close. There is only a very slight difference between them, which is great. Sharp, Precise, Infused, Nirnhoned, Charged (on a lightning staff), are all good and similar to each other.1 -

I am curious because for PVP I am purchasing a new weapon and if I get sharp + a few points into spell erosion I can to at least 4000 minimum if not more since cp is being raised next patch so I just want to make sure this would be the right choice for next patch because the weapon costs alot of gold.
And I am wondering for next patch PVP and I mostly play solo, so I will get no group buffs for the most part.
