Every campaign is so laggy. Literally its awful. 4 cp campaigns on xbox, all with queues and all packed. 300-400 queue into my main campaign, cant get in. There is no safe place from this lag, none whatsoever. If i am at blackboot fighting one person and the rest of the campaigns population is at dragonclaw i am still gonna have bar swap issues. Anywhere near people its unplayable lag and crashing. This is the normal for xbox but only at peak times. This event is 100% peak time.

✭✭✭✭✭I was in the Kastav campaign (7 day) all day today, and barely got any lag, and no disconnects. It's one of the new ones, though, and less populated than the other ones. Try playing on there if you're able to.

That were the good days. All that could happen there was fps drops if u had a *** rig.
Sadly Performance became the *** it is today before cp was introduced. Think it was 1.3 or 1.4 whencyro Performance went down to todays state.2 -

Granted it was after 2am and it was not pop locked like all the other camps ( and i think thats part of the issue on console ) but ya it was pretty good. I just wanna play with the cp ive earned and the builds ive made for cp, idk guess i will compare tomorrow.0 -

I've been pushing off PvP for a complete PvE experience...though considering the 'event' I moseyed on over to Cyrodiil to get involved. After a soul crushing defeat 100% of the time, I haven't been back. I won't be either...unless someone can list rewards obtainable through the PvP event....guess I could just Google it. I'm just annoyed that the event falls right in the middle of my holiday, so now I can't get on because the wifi here won't cut it it! Still, I can't blame ZoS for that....... ✭✭@Swifigames I see where you're coming from and it is very hard but this game isnt giving people the chance to learn and be good at pvp anymore. When you try to appease the casuals with easy mode and proc sets you end up making the game have a lot less skill. Then when all these people never try, they end up balling up in massive groups because they get killed so much..
Buutt the thing is thats how you learn, its not easy but it makes you good. Playing with friends or alone strategically, not balling up and spamming buttons in lag. its just to bad that the game is going in this direction because people that want to get good or learn pvp or even play alone or with a few friends wont have the chance.. and others who want to learn will run into game breaking lag that makes it so you can never get good because you have no idea what is happening.
If i had to make a suggestion to anyone new to pvp i would say join a smaller group that plays with some strategy involved and not just an 80 man ball zerg. Look for a decent pvp build on youtube or from a friend and try it out, its fun. I do pve and pvp but my main love is solo pvp and its gotten hard over the last couple updates. A lot of people like the no cp camp and others just re roll characters for black water ( i think its kyne now ) and keep doing it, its actually pretty good in there very competitive and easier to stay alive if you're newer to pvp.
Mid Year Mayhem Rewards:- pvp consumables (wall repairs etc.)
- coldharbour balistas and trebs
- akiviri style material
- akiviri motifs and possibly gold full books
- special event books for your homes ( if you have one )
- alchemy matts
- covenant, pact or dominion motifs ( alliance based )

itehache✭✭✭✭I have not had any lag issues these past 2 days I have been playing. I'm pretty surprised as I have an ok internet connection and I do not even have cable, still with wifi lol
I realised something very odd, I used ot live in Barcelona and I had terrible lag, seriously Cyro was unplayable for me, any time of the day. I moved to Toronto like 5 months ago and even though I still play in the EU server, man, no lag issues whatsoever!! In Barcelona I had a waaaaaay better connection and I used a cable to connect to the Internet.

Not even close. If that were true, then why was there a ton of lag on the All-Campaigns-No-CP week? The game just doesn't support those kind of numbers anymore - even in No-CP. The pop caps have been reduced significantly since launch although ZOS won't release the actual numbers. Look at how many people and particle effects are on screen. That big of a group today would fry the servers. No-CP was laggy during the No-CP event, and Shor had perfectly adequate performance with 3 pop locked factions last night. There was a huge hour long defense of Ales against AD and it was perfectly playable.
At this point, blaming CP for lag is like saying the Titanic sank because a bunch of people overflowed their bathtubs... sure maybe it contributed, but the big gaping hole in the side of the boat was the primary cause.PC/NA - Nightfighters, Raid Leader and Officer

Dracofyre✭✭✭✭there was no lag before my old PC died, took me awhile to get newer PC with top of line, and i am shock how bad it got.
just my opinion, i guess someone made 3rd party program to cheat, with boot command, pinging distortion, speed hack, and "beefed up" altered damage spells, and player tracker.

@itehache thats odd. But in a way it makes sense because some people have issues and others dont but it doesnt seem to be their connection. Like i have ( on my xbox ) 125mbs/10mbs and i believe thats pretty good. I used to play with 30 download / 3 upload and i did just fine but this was before DB update.
Idk it seems very complicated, some people were not able to play a few weeks ago and they said it was people with certain internet providers. Also i dont know about PC but on xbox i know that everyone i talk to, even people in zone chat in cyrodil, have this issue. You never see people responding to someone complaining about the lag like "oh i have no lag its great for me". Its always people agreeing so that leads me to believe its an xbox issue.. Now is it bad maintenance by zos? or hardware that cant run the game right? who knows.0 -
