What is your favourite moment from the Midyear Mayhem event so far?

It's been less than a week since the event started but what have been your favourite moments so far? Mine would be getting on a ram with some friends and running disruption at the gate keeps for AD and DC. We ended up with different reactions for both. AD decided it was necessary to send an entire zerg after 4 people at Bloodmayne while DC watched in utter bewilderment as we turtled the ram into Warden, getting within metres of the inner keep door before they decided we had gone far enough.

    I think I liked the mayhem the free throne created, really. Zone chat and the forums were fun to watch while everyone scrambled to get them while they could. Geepers, there are people with thousands. I'm waiting for all the throne housing builds that are sure to come..

    So far I have two:

    I met up with a couple other AD last night at an IC district flag and we all decided it would be a fine idea to group up, so we rampaged around the surface for a while. Long story short, I finally got to kill the lich boss and earn the achievement for killing all the district bosses! :smiley:

    I also got my first-ever killing blow on a Grand Overlord, which is not something I thought would ever happen with my healing/support playstyle. Awesome and unexpected!

    My favorite so far was getting 9 kills and zero deaths on my newly created level 15 magblade in a winning round of CTF. The new 10-49 matches are great.

    Finally figuring out a decent build for my level 34 stam sorc after giving up on finding a guide to help me.

    I suck at PvP for the most part, but my new Zerg-destroying build makes me feel like I'm an okay player for once! Nobody expects the AoEing, sustain focused, survival sorc! Nobody!
    Desperate for Roleplaying servers to bring open world non-organised RP to Elder Scrolls Online. Please ZOS.

    Well, I just started doing PvP because of the event, and so far I love it! I got the killing blow on a grand overlord, crushed a lot of DC keeps with a very large group then securing an elder scroll just after that, taken all IC districts. I never thought this aspect of the game could be this fun, I never really loved PvP but from now on i'll certainly play more.

    I make it a habit of targetting my own guild members if I see them on the opposing team.

    It can be fun at times. And congrats on getting a KB on a grand overlord so quickly. Took me a few years to do that and I got it today.

    Just being useful really

    dropping a siege engine to help take down gates, fending off attackers and repairing walls when there is a chance, res-ing group mates and using aoe's on enemies at every chance. Following the crown to get an easy keep steal....

    but probably the best bit is getting vigor and caltrops, that or knowing that when the event is over I'll continue to dip into Cyrodiil when the mood takes me.

    Finally having something to keep me away from Cyro long enough to farm BiS amberplasm. 4/5, just need those damn shoes.

    After many battlegrounds I finally managed to win my very first one! Only the see that the *** achievement from the event is bugged and I am not getting it. For *** sacke no that is not my favorite moment this *** piece of *** holy bullcrap ***.

    Sry for swearing so much, but this *** really gets on my nerves. Worst event in history of events of mmos...

    My favorite moment must be randoms from forums and guildmates on discord sending me the daedric chair. I am on holiday around Europe so I am not able to get the chsir myself. I should have around 3K in my mail by now, yet I only asked for a stack :lol: But hey, I don't complain.


    I don't mind more chairs tho :wink:

    Being in the middle of a huge battle knowing you are most likely not going to survive but you keep fighting anyway and when the dust clears you realize that you are not dead. Then you get ganked a few moments later when you head off to the next battle. :)

    My favorite part is hearing players say they are discovering they like PvP!

    Also, the sheer chaos. There are a lot of players who don't know what they "should" be doing strategically and the utterly random stuff they are coming up with is a lot of fun and makes for a far more interesting and dynamic map.

    I was part of the ram turtle that the OP mentioned. The DC who just stood there watching for a couple seconds not knowing what was going on was hilarious.

    Am enjoying it immensely & glad that people who never thought they would like pvp are realising what fun it is as that was me about a year ago.

    Best of all are the epic battles. There was one at Ash (iirc) couple of nights ago - AD sieging blues for ages, when large group of reds came up from behind. Full on fighting. And surprised myself by not actually immediately dying but managing to survive for a considerable while, seeing off the various waves of enemies.
    Utterly excellent.
