Launcher wants me to install after I just quit playing

This is weird. I logged into ESO this morning just fine. Quit the game, and when I came back a few minutes later, restarted. But instead of getting PLAY, the launcher gave me INSTALL.
Steam assures me the game is installed. I get the error whether I try launching through Steam or bypassing it. I tried rebooting the computer, but that didn't help.

I went into settings, which had changed, and activated the show PTS environment, as that had vanished from the launcher. Restarted, and I could PLAY the PTS just fine. Even after quitting and restarting. The launcher is just not seeing my main EU game.

Any ideas?

Could try copying the files, then move them and start installing game, then stop the installation, throw the files back in and continue installing game...see if that works.

Forgot to mention, you'll want to throw a repair in there too.

Thanks. What I did was I clicked the install button, then cancelled the install, and that gave me the option to repair. So I repaired, but it seemed to be installing the entire game anyway, it took that long and downloaded that much stuff. All I wanted was a repair for the launcher because everything else was working just fine. Sigh.

Well, at least it was a win in the end.
