We've seen time-travel already in ESO, during the Battle of Glenumbra Moors, the Battle for Betony/Betnikh and I'm sure there are others. These involve going into the past and walking the footsteps of a (un)named hero. But what about going into the future to walk the footsteps of someone during events that have not occurred yet - more specifically during the fall of the Tribunal, the Oblivion Crisis, the return of the dragons, the Imperial Simulacrum etc

Being able to play Elder Scrolls titles in ESO form:
- having access to all of Cyrodiil with the perks and mechanics of ESO
- revisiting places such as Solstheim and the Shivering Isles
- teaming up to battle against foes like Almalexia, Mehrunes Dagon, Jyggalag, Umaril the Unfeathered and Jagar Tharn.

The idea being that it isn't the Vestige that is performing these deeds, they are simply walking the footsteps of the Eternal Champion, Neverarine, Hero of Kvatch etc

Only if it allows me to time travel to a previous patch. Maybe patch 1.5 would be a nice destination o:)

They clearly want some sort of replaying in ESO, hence Morrowind. To use that plot device to go deep in the lore and allow us to experience the past/future puts out unlimited possibilities of content for them. I'm not sure if Elder Scrolls 6 was announced yet but I'd imagine it will be set after the events of Skyrim. That still leaves a massive void of very important moments in the timeline that weren't played. It's super immersive and creative way to explore the universe of ES.

You mean, like.. Silver and Gold, traveling back in time to set the other two factions right, leading up to CH? Or traveling back in time to Vvardenfel, where apparently you have not met some of the main characters you met on the mainland and in Gold Coast?
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

No, travelling FORWARD in time. To Vvardenfell, when the Neverarine helped topple the Tribunal, to Cyrodiil when the Hero of Kvatch stopped Mehrunes Dagon, to Skyrim when the Dragonborn defeated Alduin.

Essentially, travelling forward in time to the events of Elder Scrolls games.

Time travel is fine... you already do it a bunch of times in the base game quests... but not to just redo the quests of the other games.

I prefer back in time time travel, which appears much more common with magic in this game. Locations seem to imprint past events you can travel to with the right magic.

It is also the most likely way we will see dragons in this game... go back and see some blades kill some dragons

Only if I could travel back to 2014 when the PvP actually worked and you could have hundreds of players on screen at the same time with no lag.

Bonus points if I could somehow communicate to my past self to just give up on this game after the lighting patch and craplorn was released. Maybe leave a message like in Dark Souls.

I'd drop money on that DLC in a heartbeat. ZOS could even put it in a shiny box and call it a "chapter" and I'd still buy it.

Definitely don't want anything involving previous player protagonists. It wouldn't be our characters. The dragonborn would be some random nord in iron armor. ~Pibb

As far as I know, every instance of time travelling has always been going back in time, while the only event I know of is Alduin being sent forward in time, and that was with the power of an Elder Scroll. I'm going to assume that time travel is only "easy" when it concerns travelling to a period that's already happened.

Definitely not. This would likely either be a really bad addition to lore or not added with underlying lore at all.

Time travel to the future and defeat alduin and his dragon army. What is stopping you from sharing your knowledge of this and thus making the events of TES V no surprise, basically Dragonborn staning ready at helgen. Travel to TES IV, and come back making sure people stand ready with the amulet of kings at the right spot. time travel always adds plot holes, and considering ZoS their reputation with the lore, this would be a complete disaster.

Sure. Why not? Travel to the past, the future even alternate pasts and futures.

Would be deep and should still be "easy" from a building perspective.

I like the idea of time-travel DLC, but simply rehashing the existing games seems boring. Many of us have literally been there and done that, and if you haven't you can do it already by buying those games. I'd much rather a time travel DLC was focused on letting us see bits of Tamriels history which are highly unlikely to ever make it into a full game.

The Dawn Era for example. You probably couldn't have a whole game set in a place where time and 'reality' didn't exist and therefore nothing was consistent. Or at least not a narrative driven game like the TES series, you could have a fantastic trippy platformer set in a world like that. But for a one-off, short storyline? I think it could be great fun.

Similarly we could visit some of the major events of Tamriels history which aren't featured in the game and are unlikely to make it into future ones - because it was a one-off event that's too short for a game of it's own or because it's not a major, world threatening crisis or whatever.

Or maybe ones using the same format as some of the existing 'flashback' quests where we take on the role of a specific person involved in historic events - the major players, not the random adventurer who helped out periodically (aka did all the actual work) but wasn't quite important enough for anyone to remember their name or anything about them. We could be Vivec at the Battle of Red Mountain or Tiber Septim conquering Tamriel or one of the generals leading a war against Akavir, or whatever.

want a historical event on Nord-Snow elves War, i have seen original snow elf's armor set in Skyrim, it look awesome.
make sure we can pick light/med/heavy armor set instead of random or poorly selected by devs, we want to pick what we want.
or add motif as "unique mythical" set as reward.

THIS. 100 times this. We already have other games for those types of things.

However, if we were to travel back in time to see something like, the first era, or the Merethic era, then I'd be on your side.
