A Question About a PVP Skill...

I get knocked down a lot with full stam when I am in BG and other PVP as well from skills like jab throw, a NB skill etc. (I do not know what they are called off the top of my head, sorry). I am just wondering what is a good way to block such skills? Besides blocking (and that makes one run slow), what are good skills and / or sets to use to block knock down (or fear skill)? Are they any other ways to block knock downs or fear?

Immovable pots, although they don't work half the time.

Immovability pots or the Immovable skill from the heavy armor skill line.

Either should work, but pots last longer and you don't need to use your stam

I am magtemplar, will the heavy armor skill work even if I am wearing light armor? (I must likely use pots instead, but just wondering)

Aw it is nice to see people new to PvP asking for advice rather than ragequitting :)

First of all, some skills aren't blockable nor dodgeable(NB fear is one of them). Only thing that will protect you from them is cc immunity. There're several ways to get that, easiest one is Immovable potions(grant immunity to knockbacks and disabling effects for ~15 seconds). You also get cc immunity for 7 seconds after breaking free (this can be buggy) and even if you don't break free but let it expire instead (this can be even buggier, it also doesn't kick in til AFTER cc expires so you can and will get chain cc'd if you don't break free). Hope this helps. Basically you want to always try to have enough stamina left for a breakfree.

As long as you have the skill unlocked you don't need to be wearing hvy armor to use it.
