Broken Midyear Battleground Achievement

Is there any ETA on a fix? Because currently this is really the only thing between me and my title. Also any word on whether or not the fix will give the achievement to those who have already won a battleground or more during the event thus far? Because it would be terrible if the fix was implemented on say the last day and some people couldn't get a win at all that day.
