It was a long and perilous journey, but I made it!
After 18,250 days "played" (give or take a few leap years
)...
I FINALLY hit 50
As I celebrate this monumental feat...I just wanted to thank all of the players, the good people at ZOS, and of course all of you crazy forum dwellers...for making the last 3 "levels" so much fun.
Before I get to joining AARP, there was one other thing.
What the heck was it ...
Oh yeah...

✭I just hit L50/CP Rank on my 10th Alt last night. I was so overjoyed that I left her in the L40 gear that she was wearing. Let me tell you, nothing weaker than a Champ Rank wearing leveling gear.
I was playing through Darkshade II as a healer last night when my warden finally hit lvl 50...I leveled from lvl49 to CP782 right before the engine gaurdian fight. It was a disaster! I went from 20k health and 32k magicka wearing my lvl 26 training gear to 15k health and 25k magicka. As you can imagine, the group soon wiped. I had to actually call a stop while I ransacked my bank for whatever cp160 magicka build gear I had...I found a full set of Amber Plasm and some mismatched staves and monster helms and made it through...but it was pretty funny playing a cp780 healer in lvl 26 training gear having my healing springs tick for 1.1k0 -

When I'm lvl 49 and the xp bar is around 2/3's full, I head to a populated dolmen. Safety in numbers and I can just pull right back. I'm always kitted out in lvl 40 training gear too.
First time I ever levelled an alt I found out the hard way. Back then I was around 300 something cp and the drop in damage and the increase in incoming damage is something I have never forgotten.0 -
