pledge progress transfer.......

So today i joined a group that is half-way through Darkshade Caverns 2. For some reason they were stuck at the huge Netch. Not just me, but another two people joined at the same time. So 3 of us didn't do the Hive Lord boss. We made it through the Netch, the dwarven army, and slayed the Engine Guardian finally. Now three of us didn't finish the pledge because the progress won't transfer to pick-up group members. We had to do it again on normal (and guess what, on normal it's even more difficult because most noob healers don't know to use healing springs on last boss).

I think this is a poor design, since this discourages joining a group that meets trouble and needs help. You should encourage the players to offer a helping hand by transfering the pledge progress completely.

On the other hand, if you queue for a random daily and joined a group at last boss, you still get the full credit. This kind of inconsistency in game design is really bad.

Yes its rather frustrating, could easily be done, but also would allow for exploitation by kicking ppl at final boss to invite friend etc.

If you join by queue you should get pledge even if on last boss, you help an stuck group and its no way you can speculate in it.
If you are invited to help you will not get pledge to avoid speculating, you are helping friends after all.

That you can do, and this is pretty evil, queue for the same dungeon, normal work just as well, do the missing boss and leave,
This will leave the group with an missing player and the next guy in will not get his pledge either.

Benefit of letting the replacement get the pledge is that he is likely to try harder to do the rest as he don't have to do the entire dungeon, changing bad rng to good.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

just remove the absurd 15 min wait time between queues.

Im confused... You can kill the last bosses, then go in with a different group and kill the first bosses and the pledge will be complete...
