was even generous with my numbers and rounded my AP gain up in favor of an even number.

based on my current pvp effort since launch (rounded up total AP gain, and rounded down game life to 3 years)

and calculating total AP required (rounded DOWN to only 60,000,000 AP)

it would take me 90 years to hit rank 50. . .

I instantly gave up, pvp rank and ap gain is simply not designed for the casual pvp player. unless your good, in a guild or group designed for pvp, and can constantly dedicate the majority of your playtime to it, don't bother.

or wait for the next bleakers ap flip exploit (shame on you!

calculate your current amount of total AP (based on your alliance rank) https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/96794/64-680-700-alliance-points-required-to-get-to-pvp-rank-50/p1

divide the AP cap (around 64 million ap) by that number. giving you X

then multiply that number (X) by the number of years you have been playing pvp.

and tada, there is your rough estimate.

Seriously though, I don't think most high level achievements in MMOs (or even some single player games) are meant to be attainable by casuals. Or even most hardcores. Those achievements are reserved for the hardcorest of the hardcore, the ones who end up dying in front of their screens because they forgot to take a break to eat or sleep.

I actually did play quite a bit during the double ap event, but I didn't take part in any of the bleakers flipping shenanagins and just played as I normally do, guess I missed out :C

Equip a resto staff and follow your pug groups around, you don't have to be good or in a group to do that.
Keep your AP buff up too

Meh. My wife and I play pretty casually, maybe a couple of hours per day with quite a few days off. We aren't that great players but just duoing in Vivec this past campaign we got 3.5mil AP each. Usually we hit around 50k per hour and that's literally just leeching keep ticks because we're terrible people

Not suggesting it is doable, but the manner of your math is skewed in the wrong direction as Zos has increased AP gains for many activities during the past year making it faster to gain ranks now. Granted, I did not look at your link to see if that was taken into consideration.

nah I just have stints of not doing pvp at all, and then binge it for a bit.

that's very true, however they also nerfed a lot of ap gains you used to be able to get back in the day to, for instance healing is not NEARLY as profitable as it used to be.

Sometimes it's fun just to toodle around an area, fishing a bit, collecting mats,
& slaughtering indigenous wildlife instead of a mad dash to get things done. I put on some music & go wandering. makes it bearable

(About half way done on my main. For those who have it on more than one character - how? Do you not have a job? Or do anything else except eso? - mot meant in a rude way, truly in awe)

Took me 2 weeks of dedicated fishing to get Master Angler, darn Dab fish in Stormhaven took the longest.
Now if I could fish for blue players that fast I would be Grand Overlord. lol
